Had lunch at Des Arts for no other reason than it was there when we walked by at the right time.  It was so good that we went back 2 days later for dinner and the owner remembered us and treated us like long lost friends.  Terrific food, friendly attentive staff, lovely location, reasonably priced, and interesting/very tasty wine recommendations.  All in all it was our favorite meal in Lucca

Booked ahead, glad I did. The charcuterie platter with 10 local sauces was the main event. Good variety, the tigelle bread was fresh. A solid, efficient meal for a business dinner. Gets crowded, so plan accordingly.
