We came by chance upon Il Ciliegio and we had a wonderful evening that was all around perfect.It is a family owned family operated winery and restaurant and we came for dinner. Our first pleasant surprise was the fact that we were the only tourists - apart from us there were inly locals - already a good sign. And as there were two large birthday parties and a silver wedding dinner the atmosphere was super fun.The second surprise was the food. They only cook one menu per day for everyone, wichever mamma buys that day on the market. For the set price of 35€ we got a five course meal, homemade sparkling, wine, water, coffee and a limoncello at the end of the- all included! We paid three times as much in all previous locations. The food again was excellent. It was all homemade, feelgood food. Nothing fancy, but very tasty.And the service was so caring and nice, we spend over three great hours there and would return within a heartbeat.

TheForkUserOur family is staying in a nearby Villa for a couple weeks and this “once in a lifetime” experience has been greatly enhanced by enjoying dinner at La Grotta di Fulignano on three different occasions. The food, wine and service were top notch and the ambiance and views are incredible! We’re grateful to have had their place as a “go to venue” on this trip.

We love our food as a family and felt that the pastas were the only thing letting the experience down, they looked beautiful but just were not the best flavours, it's personal taste so we would still go again.
