TheForkUserWe had been here on Friday night and had an excellent service. Last night we were given a table outside right next to some very heavy smokers. We asked to move to the non smoking area and were given an awful table against a wall and tight in the line of all the waiters going to and from the kitchen. There were plenty of spare tables for 2 but when we asked to move to a nicer table we were given all sorts of excuses as to why not. Within 10 minutes other customers had come in and were given the nicer tables. Why can’t they have anon smoking area for customers outside in the lovely area there rather than punish us inside. Really disappointing
TheForkUserEverything about the experience was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, local and prepared with skill. The place is out in the country and understated. It is worth the trip. If the weather is agreeable, the outside area is calm and inviting. Great find.
_TI***kzI highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent value for money. The menu offers a variety of tasty options that cater to different tastes.
TheForkUserA lovely warm welcome to this cosy restaurant inland of the Basque country. There is no menu choice, only the carte du jour, but the owner will contact you in advance to ask for likes/dislikes/allergies etc..Today we had Tarte Tatin of Courgettes, Paupiette of Veal with potato and carrot purée and a Mango and Pineapple Crumble. It was all delicious! The service was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.
TheForkUserGreat dinner to end the summer holidays. Excellent quality, good quantities and awesome service.
_TI***1iThe ambiance is cozy with a nice musical atmosphere, perfect for both lunch and evening cocktails. The friendly servers enhance the experience.
_TI***l5The presentation of the dishes was impressive, and the flavors were well-balanced. I especially loved the exceptional chocolate mousse, which was a highlight of the meal.
TheForkUserAlthough I have lived in the area for 16 years, I had no idea that the monastery at Saint-Mont was a hotel. The building has been beautifully restored and the views are fantastic. The restaurant served us an absolutely delicious set menu, which we greatly enjoyed, and the service was very attentive. I would highly recommend it.
_TI***cnThe Sunday brunch here is a must-try! The atmosphere is relaxed, and the variety of quality products ensures that everyone, including vegans, can find something to enjoy. It's worth every euro spent.
_TI***d9A hidden gem! The dishes are 100% homemade, and the Wagyu beef is a highlight. The value for money is exceptional, and the team is dedicated to providing a great experience.
TheForkUserUnpretentious restaurant where the staff and service is amazing, abundant portions, creative plates and very high quality ingredients. We would definitely come back and recommend it.
