TheForkUserAs per usual the food and service were excellent. We went early Friday evening ( to save cooking). It was quiet but the service was quite efficient. The wine was also rather excellent even if it was the lowest price Sauvignon Blanc.Another good evening.
TheForkUserLove to refurb at the Formby Toby Carvery. The staff are amazing and service excellent. Always plenty of good choices to choose from and food is cooked to perfection.
TheForkUserWe had an early meal before the concert we were going to. We had a small plate, brichetta, always very good and a tiramisu, to follow both excellent and served very quickly,. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient.
TheForkUserTook my two Grandsons, for a lunchtime treat and what a treat it was. Food was absolutely delicious, possibly the best I have ever had there. Service was really good and lovely ambience - not too busy - very pleasant. Grandsons loved it too!
TheForkUserMet two cousins of mine . We had a really good time . Good catch up . The service was great . Food brilliant . My cousins had never been there before . We went with my suggestion. Thought it was great . Definitely be back . What was nice the staff didn’t keep interrupting us . Would recommend it to anyone .
TheForkUserWe have been dining at this Restaurant for a long time, Food is excellent, plenty of it, and both kichen and front of house staff are professional, ultra helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

TheForkUserMarvellous country pub on the outskirts of Warrington. Excellent service and prices are very competitive. Real ale on tap.
TheForkUserThe food was delicious, the staff made sure we enjoyed ourselves, would recommend this place to friends and family top marks and many thanks
TheForkUserThis is now our go to carvery. Every visit is the same good service, good quality food and very welcoming, even if we have not booked a table. Thanks
TheForkUserLovely surroundings, staff, service and delicious food. Was a bit disappointed in the lunch menu choices but in the end it was all delicious. Would definitely go again.
TheForkUserWe go to Red Dog Liverpool very often. I've never been dissapointed. Food is extremely delicious and big portions. The staff is always welcoming, friendly but professional at the same time.
TheForkUserWe are so thankful. We had an amazing time the food tasted absolutely great, and the staff went out their way to help make it extra special. It was great value for money aswell. Would recommend it.
TheForkUserTypical hearty carvery meal, but - for some reason - slightly cheaper food (and beer) than other Toby restaurants in the area on Sundays (normally the most expensive and busiest day of the week).
TheForkUserAmbience was superb service exceptional a wonderful experience. My overseas guests were enchanted to experience a traditional hostelry. We will certainly visit again
TheForkUserWe arrived a few minutes early but it wasn’t a problem, our table was ready for us. We got our drinks promptly and ordered from the two course lunch menu. The food was excellent freshly cooked and we didn’t have to wait long. Pudding was syrup sponge and I had it with ice cream, usually this is served on the plate and melts next to the hot sponge. The Harvester serves it in a metal bucket, so it stays cold. Our server was friendly and made suggestions on our food choices, we will definitely return.
TheForkUserThe staff are friendly and attentive. The menu, although not your traditional Indian curry house food, is probably some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted! Lamb in the Saag Ghosht, was beautifully succulent, but do expect things to be different. The pickle tray with the poppadom's was unlike anything I've had before but was still lovely. Nice quiet atmosphere.
TheForkUserThe food was good and the service was good only one problem asked for a window table but that part of the restaurant wasn't open .
TheForkUserThe staff and owners always make you feel very welcome and looked after. Special mention to the gentleman who looked after us today 8th June and he was working on his birthday . He’s a credit to the restaurant. Very attentive with a lovely manner , made the afternoon lovely. Also thank you to the owner ( lady with red hair ) she always makes time to chat and welcome everyone. Been coming for years and will continue. Excellent thank you
TheForkUserGreat visit, went with a good friend and experienced a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Food was hot, refilled frequently and was varied. All interactions with Staff were positive. Really enjoyed the visit
TheForkUserThe vegetarian sunday dinner and the beef sunday dinner were excellent.Bit disappointed there was no cauliflower cheese avaiable at 6.30 pm and the Ham&cheese pie apparently lacked flavour. Portions were generous, desserts excellent and staff excellent. A few tweaks and the star rating would be higher.
