The Hoshikawa udon was really good. Wide, chewy noodles with a nice bite. Dipping sauce had a great flavor, not too salty. Just what I wanted for a quick lunch.

The set lunch was just right after a morning of temple visits. I really appreciated the fresh, seasonal vegetables in the dishes. The tatami seating was a nice touch, though a bit tricky with little ones.
