The counter staff were really on top of things, clearing plates and taking drink orders without us having to ask.

They made the soufflé pancakes for me even though it was Sunday. Very kind of them.

The Nagoya Cochin chicken oyakodon was so good! The egg was silky and the rice was perfectly fluffy.

Been coming here for years. The food's always solid, especially the share plates. It's my go-to spot when we're a big group—the vibe is just right for that. Never had a bad night.

As an omurice fan, I had to try this place. The beef stew version was packed with tender meat, felt like a real indulgence. Classic fluffy one was solid too. A satisfying lunch.

The char siu here is really juicy and has that nice browned top from the burner. The bamboo shoots are thick and crunchy too. For the price, the portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but the quality was solid.

The garlic topping is a nice touch. It adds a decent depth of flavor to the ramen without being overpowering. A simple thing that makes the bowl pretty good.

Quick lunch spot. The chicken tikka masala came out fast, good portion. Place smells nice, like spices. Simple and efficient for a quick bite.

Managed to snag a walk-in table on a whim, which was a nice surprise. The space itself is quite cozy, with a warm, dimly lit vibe. It does feel a bit tight between tables though, especially when it's busy.

Been coming here for years. The portions are always generous and filling, especially for the price.

Been coming here for years, and the Nagoya Cochin chicken is always perfectly grilled. The meatball skewers are a nice touch too.

Been here a few times. The French food is good, but what I like is they always give you something different. Never had the same dish twice. Keeps things interesting.

Been coming here for years. The fish is always fresh and plump, no fishy taste. For an extra 450 yen, you get rice, soup, and a side dish. Solid deal for the neighborhood.

Spacious old-school spot. Got my lunch quickly and portions are generous. Good for a quick bite.

First time trying this place. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles had a nice bite. A bit on the pricier side for lunch, but it hit the spot.

So many pasta choices! I upgraded the carbonara to a large portion and it was just right.

The hamburger steak stew. The meat is soft, not dry at all. Lots of vegetables in the sauce, carrots and onions. It’s simmered for a long time, you can tell. The flavor goes deep. Good with rice.

The tonkotsu soup is rich and creamy, no porky smell at all. The thin noodles are great when ordered firm.

The omakase set was a fun surprise! Each skewer came out piping hot, fresh from the fryer. The batter was super light and crispy, and the dashi-based sauce had a nice depth to it. Really enjoyed trying a bit of everything.

Came for the yakiniku. The offal and skirt steak were good, but the portions felt a bit small for the price. A bit more meat on the plate would've made it feel like better value.

The steak rice bowl was a nice surprise. The meat was tender, and I found even more of it tucked under the rice. Made for a really filling meal.

The curry bacon tomato pizza was a fun surprise! Thin, crispy crust and the cheese was just right. It's a great choice if you're sharing with friends and want something different from the usual.

The owner still greets everyone personally. Felt like stepping back in time. The handwritten menu is charming, though the lighting is a bit dim for reading it. A quiet, personal kind of place.
