Lamb curry and fish kebabs were spot on. Got my order in 10 minutes during a busy lunch rush. Perfect for a quick, tasty bite.

Suirai Don for 500 yen. Good size. Fried egg, char siu, bamboo shoots. Mixed in that mustard-soy sauce they give you. Different. Fresh taste.

Gyokusentei is a historic Chinese restaurant in Isezakicho, known as the birthplace of Sanmamen. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal.

Came for the drinks and music, but ended up loving the food! The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. A nice surprise.

Been coming here for years. The pies are the one thing I can always count on. Big slices, fair price. Everything else might change, but not the pies.

The fried oysters were so crispy, not greasy at all. That was the highlight for me. The rest of the set meal was fine, but those oysters really made it.

The Showa-era vibe here is so cozy, really takes you back. Felt like a little escape. But honestly, the portions for the price left me a bit hungry afterwards.

First time trying all-you-can-eat shabu shabu! I liked cooking the thin pork slices myself at the table. The broth was simple but nice. It's in World Porter mall, easy to find. A solid choice for a casual meal.

The half-size oraga donburi was pretty good, very generous with the seafood. A decent portion for the price.

Perfect for a quick coffee break. Right by More's City Plaza, super close to the train and bus stops. Grabbed a latte and a croissant, in and out in 10 minutes. Exactly what I needed.

The beef navy curry set is surprisingly filling. Comes with rice, salad, milk, and coffee. The milk really helps if the curry's too spicy for you.

The steamed whitebait bowl was good, but the real surprise was the 'mini' tempura set—it was huge! Came with rice and soup too.

Right by the station gates, super easy. Grabbed a quick bowl of noodles. It's the kind of simple, reliable spot locals keep coming back to. Just what I needed.

The course menu at Azure was impressive, especially the Matsusaka beef fillet, which was cooked to perfection. The presentation of each dish was beautiful, making the meal not just delicious but also visually stunning.

Cozy little spot with jazz in the background, perfect for a slow meal. Had the grilled mackerel and it was spot on, skin crispy and the fish moist. A nice place to unwind after work.

Small spot, not many tables. Went with just one friend, that worked. Waited maybe 15 minutes? Not too bad. The ramen was hot and the broth was really rich. Felt cozy inside.

The prices here are so reasonable. I had a lovely salad with fresh greens and a simple grilled fish, plus a drink, and it felt like a very balanced, healthy meal without being expensive.

Got a window seat without much wait, which was nice. The dishes arrived quickly too. The pasta was pretty good, decent portion. The sauce was a bit on the salty side for my taste.

The lemon jam toast was good, but what really stood out was the seating. They have these deep, comfy armchairs by the window. I ended up staying for an extra coffee just because it was so relaxing to sit there.

We were walking our dog nearby and popped in. They allowed our pup inside which was so nice! The food was okay, but honestly, the portions felt a bit small for the price. Still, a decent spot if you're out with your furry friend.

Been coming here for years. The staff always make me feel like a regular, even though I'm not from around here. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. The conger eel nigiri is always tender, just melts in your mouth. That's the one thing I keep ordering. The sake lees soup is good too, but the eel is the reason I'm a regular.

First time trying monjayaki here. The staff really took their time to show me how to cook it right on the hot plate. Made the whole thing way less intimidating and actually fun. A solid intro to this style.
