I had a wonderful experience celebrating my daughter's birthday here. The sweet potato potage was a standout dish, and all the food was delicious.

The sea bream pasta was really interesting. Light chicken broth flavor. The whole lunch course felt like a good deal for the price.

The afternoon tea set was interesting, with strawberries in the savory items. It does get quite warm by the windows on sunny days.

The curry portion was generous for the price. Got the apple pie with mascarpone cream, which was a nice touch. Felt like a good value meal.

Got there early, still waited a bit. Owner was super friendly though. Service was on point even when packed.

Cozy counter seating is a nice touch. The chef explained each dish, which made the meal feel relaxed. I especially enjoyed the chawanmushi; the broth was just right. A comfortable spot for a quiet dinner.

I love watching them fry the fish right there, you can see it's fresh. Getting it super hot and crispy is the best part. The sauces on the table are handy too.

Stopped by after getting off at Zushi Station. The Neapolitan spaghetti was simple but hit the spot. Grabbed a couple of cakes to go for later. Just what I needed.

The eat-in area is a plus for a quick stop. Grabbed a coffee and a fresh croissant on my way to a meeting. They sometimes have regional specials, which is a nice touch.

Cozy spot, not too big but feels nice. Ordered the pasta special. Portion was decent for the price, I left satisfied. Could have used a bit more sauce though.

I had a wonderful experience celebrating my anniversary here. The five-course meal was exquisite, and the staff provided attentive service that made us feel special throughout our visit.

Loved the terrace seating! Perfect for catching up with friends. The street view was so lively, made our evening chats feel extra nice. A bit breezy later on, but we just ordered another round of drinks. Great spot for a casual hangout.

The ¥5,000 nomihodai course is solid. The mentaiko omelet and bitter melon pickles were well-balanced. Food came out efficiently. For the price and location, it's a practical option for a business dinner.

The seating is really spacious here. You don't feel cramped at all, even when the place gets busy. It's a nice change from some of the tighter spots in the area. Just makes the whole meal feel more relaxed.

Been coming here for years. The soba is always fresh, you can taste the buckwheat. Had the tempura set today, the shrimp was crisp, not oily. A bit of a wait at lunch, but that's how you know it's good.

No. 5 of Local Restaurants in Kamakura

Seasonal nerikiri sweets. Crafted beautifully. Elegant, delicate flavor. Paired perfectly with the matcha. That subtle sweetness was just right. A quiet afternoon well spent.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy a Japanese breakfast, this restaurant offers a delightful set that feels like a traditional inn experience, all for a very reasonable price.

The tapas platter lets you try a bit of everything. I kept going back for the Spanish omelet. The potatoes inside were nice and chunky, gave it a really solid texture. That was the best part for me.

Been coming here for years. The fried horse mackerel set is my go-to. Fish is always fresh, skin stays crispy. Comes with miso soup and rice refills. Simple and reliable.

Cozy counter with just a few seats. The husband-and-wife team running it are so warm. They explained each dish, which I really liked. The sake pairing suggestion for the grilled fish was spot-on, made the whole evening. A very personal experience.

A short walk from Kamakura Station. Tried the mackerel and tofu hamburger set. Both were solid, good portion for the price. The tofu patty was surprisingly firm and flavorful. Service was efficient.

Quick lunch spot for me. Grab the chu-toro from the take-out counter. It's on a silver plate, always fresh. Saves me a lot of time. A bit pricey for a quick bite, but hits the spot.

The staff told me to squeeze lemon on the curry rice. I wasn't sure, but they were right. The lemon cuts the richness perfectly. For the price, it's a simple trick that makes the whole dish better.

The misaki tuna ramen was interesting. I liked the salt-based soup, and adding the chili oil on the side was a nice touch. The vibe in there is pretty chill, good for a solo meal.

Stopped by right before closing, they were still open! The grilled fish set was surprisingly filling, and my kids actually finished theirs. A nice late-night find.

The Ryoshi set meal is the one to get. Sashimi was fresh, tempura batter crisp. The simmered fish was tender, not too sweet. A solid choice for trying a bit of everything.
