Been coming here for years, and the burger deals on certain days are still a solid reason to swing by. Portions are generous, which is nice. The kids' menu is a decent size too, keeps the little one happy. It's just a reliable spot for that.

First time trying the Lamb Cawl here. It was so rich and hearty, really hit the spot on a damp evening. The broth had a deep, savoury flavour that was just right.

The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and my kids and I had a lovely time. The air con however was a little cold but they turned it down when they realised. The seats need some TLC and it's not very pram friendly but the staff went over and above to make sure that we were as comfortable as possible.

A decent spot to watch the Six Nations. The Welsh atmosphere is pretty good, though it does get quite loud.

Food came quick and tasted good. Drinks were decently priced, especially for the city centre. Not a bad spot to grab a bite.

The fish and chips were solid, a proper generous portion. The fish was flaky and fresh. I had a local pale ale with it, which cut through the batter nicely. Classic pub grub done right.

Nice quiet spot for a Saturday lunch. The building is easy to get into, and the disabled loo is right by the entrance.

The vegetable lasagne was really nice and filling. I appreciate that they have both vegetarian and vegan choices clearly marked on the menu, makes ordering so much easier. Good, honest food for the price.

Good for a quick bite. Lamb biryani had great flavour, portions are big for the price. Got my food fast, which is what I needed.

Busy when we arrived, but service was efficient. Food came out in about 20 minutes. The steak and ale pie was solid, good portion for the price. A reliable option for a straightforward meal.

Came for a special occasion. The food was clearly cooked fresh, which I really appreciate. Portions were generous, had to take some home. The ingredients tasted vibrant and wholesome.

The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Richard, the manager, was really helpful and kind during a tough time for us. Made a difference.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub, always busy with families. Food's solid, the Sunday roast is a winner. Staff are friendly without being over the top. Just a good, reliable spot.

Convenient spot for a reliable lunch in Weston-super-Mare. The fish and chips were solid, though the chips could have been a bit crispier.

The avocado was fresh and the halloumi was nicely grilled. A decent breakfast on the sourdough toast. A bit pricey for what it was, but a fine start to the day.

Had a gathering in their function room. Staff were really helpful, let us bring our own decorations and set up how we wanted. Made organising things a lot easier. The space itself was clean and worked well for our group.

Proper pub vibe, lovely landlady and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere with good tunes. The beer garden out back is a nice spot, especially on a sunny afternoon. Just what you want from a local.

Cool old-school vibe. Walls and ceiling covered in random historical stuff. Felt like stepping back in time for a bit. 👍

Quick bite sorted. Ordered takeout, curry and biryani were spot on. Staff even checked the spice level without me asking. 👍

Been coming here for years. The calamari is always spot on - never rubbery, just right. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Nice little spot for fish and chips, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Poached eggs with halloumi and sriracha on sourdough was spot on. The eggs were runny, halloumi nicely salty. Coffee was good too. Staff were friendly, made it a nice chill stop.
