The fried chicken here had a nice homemade touch. Went with a local beer, and the pairing was spot on. The buffet's a solid deal for the price, and the Hoto was a good find.

The katsudon was fantastic. But what really got me was the vibe — it’s so cozy and warm in here, like stepping into a quiet little hideaway. Just the right kind of place to unwind after a long day.

No. 8 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Izu City

The vibe here is just right for a casual dinner. I love the warm lighting and the comfortable booths. The food was tasty, but it's really the relaxed, unpretentious setting that makes me want to come back.

Convenient location right by Odawara Station, perfect for a quick business lunch. Had the grilled mackerel set. Fish was fresh, rice was good. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. A solid, no-fuss meal when you're in the area.

Cozy evening spot, definitely an adult vibe. We had a table by the window. It was packed, so glad we booked ahead. The grilled octopus was tender, a bit smoky, just right.

The set lunch was beautifully presented. I particularly liked the fried sweetfish with balsamic sauce – the batter was light and crisp, no fishiness at all. The focaccia was nicely chewy. A very satisfying midday meal.

I came for lunch and really appreciated how they highlight local Izu ingredients. The pork with mustard sauce was lovely, the meat was so fresh and tender. The coffee blancmange was a nice, not-too-sweet finish. A quiet, refined spot.

I had a delightful experience with a lunch course that included a variety of delicious dishes. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, making it a great place for a special meal.

Been coming here for years. The okonomiyaki with pork and scallops is always spot on. You can tell the chef puts real care into it. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Stayed here for a business trip. The hotel is clean, and the public baths are well-maintained. I appreciated the daily rotation between the indoor and outdoor baths. It was efficient after a long day. The location was also convenient for my meetings.

The lunch buffet's seafood and sushi selection is solid. I always go for the make-your-own seafood bowl. Unlimited draft beer is a good deal, though the sparkling wine is just okay.

The tempura bowl had a nice-sized conger eel and snapper. Rice wasn't too heavy, so it was just right for lunch.

The sweet and sour pork had that perfect homemade texture. The ramen broth was solid too.

The staff was super helpful even without an English menu. We managed just fine with pictures and a translation app.

Stopped by after getting off the train. The tonkatsu ramen was solid, broth had a nice depth. Quick service, got my order in like 10 minutes. Good for when you're just passing through.

The staff were so on top of things during the lunch rush! Got my order in quick and the food came out faster than I expected. Really appreciated that.

The sashimi platter here is incredibly fresh. The tuna melts in your mouth, and the uni has a clean, sweet ocean flavor. You can taste the difference from being steps away from the market. The price reflects that quality, but it's worth it for the fish.

I like the semi-private rooms here. It's not completely closed off, but enough for a group chat without everyone hearing. The lighting is cozy too.
