Booked a small family dinner here. The setting overlooking the park is lovely. The menu isn&#39;t huge, but honestly, the prices for the quality felt spot on. We weren&#39;t left wanting for choice either. A really nice evening.

The haddock and chips here are unreal. Crispy batter, flaky fish, proper chips. Mushy peas on point. Their tartar sauce and curry sauce really make it. Best I&#39;ve had, hands down.

A wonderful pub restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff were very sincere and helpful. It was definitely service with smiles. The food was excellent and hot! The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back.
