TheForkUserSo to start, the food was really excellent and the place had really nice selection of wines and local delicatessen, it was cozy and in the city center, but the service was really bad. We felt like if we were not welcome and were too much to the place, they had cancelled our reservation as we arrived 14 minutes late, so after that we said we got lost in the medieval city on the way from the Pope's palace, they activated it again. But said this we have really felt the weight of not being wanted.

TheForkUserNice place obviously specialising in meat dishes. Tartare was absolutely wonderful, tagliata slightly less so — tasty but nothing to write home about. Pork ribs was ok. As desert we had chocolate and rhum gelato — now THAT was quite something! All in all, a pleasant experience.

TheForkUserThe restaurant has an unique location on the shore of lake Bracciano. The atmosphere is charming, so quiet and relaxing. The food is well cooked, servings are generous and very well presented. We had starters, one first course and two mains, and all were great. Good choice of wines, attentive service and cooperative staff. You can then rest on the nearby beach, were sunbeams and umbrellas are provided from the nearby beach service. Highly recommended, we were there several times in the recent past.
