The steak was cooked properly and looked lovely on the plate. Staff were friendly enough, made us feel looked after without hovering. Place has a nice warm buzz to it. The vegan cherry chocolate cake is properly good&mdash;rich but not too sweet, you can tell they put effort in. Just wish they&#39;d add a few more vegan bits to the menu.

The hot and sour soup was genuinely top-tier. Chicken Szechuan with cashews was solid too. We sat there for two hours chatting, no one rushed us out.

The BBQ pork and nachos were the real deal, proper comfort food. We grabbed a nice bottle of red to go with it, which worked a treat. Service was sound, though the place was a bit mad busy.

Tomato mussels were unreal, steak cooked perfectly too. Service felt proper fancy but not stuffy. Pricey enough but class for a treat 🍷

The staff sorted out my big phone order really quickly, even though the place was packed. They were polite the whole way through, which I appreciated. Nice to see service like that when you&#39;re in a rush. Made the whole thing a lot less stressful than I expected.
