This little spot by the cathedral is a total find. Came with a few mates and the lamb madras was spot on – really packed a punch. Perfect for a casual catch-up, the vibe is just right for a group.

The balcony view over the river is lovely for a drink. I appreciated that their house lemonade tasted freshly squeezed, not from a bottle.

The family that runs this place is lovely. Staff are friendly and actually know the menu, which is nice.

The place is spotlessly clean, which I really appreciate. It just feels good to sit in. I've tried a few dishes and they've all been tasty.

First time here, had the fish finger bap. It was really nice and fresh. The staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome, which is always a plus. We'll definitely be back.

The beef cheek was cooked for hours, so tender it fell apart with a fork. The red wine sauce had a deep, rich flavor that wasn't too sweet. It's the kind of dish you just focus on eating.

Portions are generous and the food is fresh. It's a lively place, especially when they do the birthday celebrations and the whole room gets involved. Can get a bit loud for a business lunch, but good for a casual group meal.

First time here and the staff were so nice! They remembered my name and chatted about the menu. The food was good, but honestly, the service made it. Felt really welcome.

Nice spot just off the main road. The lasagne was pretty good, and the Eton mess was decent. Service was friendly, if a little slow.

I always stop by for my morning coffee. It's consistently good, and I appreciate that it doesn't cost a fortune. The space itself is really pleasant, which makes taking a moment to enjoy it feel easy. A solid, reliable spot.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Fish and chips came out fast and hot, perfect when you're short on time. Staff were friendly and efficient. The toilets were a nice bonus, spacious and clean. Just what you need for a speedy bite.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, which really made the evening relaxed. The atmosphere was lovely too. My only small note is that the seating is a bit close together, but the service more than made up for it.

Nice spot for a quiet dinner. The vibe is clean and relaxed, just what we needed. Had the grilled sea bass, which was simple but cooked well. Service was fine, nothing fancy. A bit on the pricier side for what it is, but okay for a casual catch-up.

Service was prompt even on a Friday night. Staff handled our table of eight well, orders came out quickly. Good for a business dinner or group.

The steak burger was really tasty, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and made sure we were comfortable.

The corned beef melt was so good - the cheese was perfectly gooey and the bread had a nice crunch. The deluxe hot chocolate with whipped cream was a lovely way to end the meal. Just a really solid, comforting lunch.

Came for lunch with a few mates. The chicken tikka flatbread was a proper portion and so good! Beth was lovely, and the chef even popped out to say hello. Nice spot for a catch-up.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying a while. The staff were really friendly, which was nice. The coffee was good, and the seats inside are comfy. Just a chill spot.

The Murgh Mango was the star for me. That chicken tikka with the sweet mango and crunchy almonds? So good, I'm already thinking about my next order.

The staff were really on it, topping up water and wine before you even noticed. Great vibe. The food was spot on, and the house red they suggested went perfectly with the lamb. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The pork with crispy crackling is a must-try. Generous portions and perfectly cooked for a Sunday lunch.

Busy, casual place. The tom yum soup is the real deal, really packs a punch and warms you right up. That's the one to get.

Service was really nice. They were friendly and quick, but didn't feel rushed. Just a good, easy vibe.

The decaf coffee here is freshly ground, not bitter at all. I'm pretty picky about that. For £3.50, it's a solid cup. Most places just serve that stale, burnt-tasting stuff. This one's actually good.

The spicy seafood ramen is a solid choice, really hits the spot. The place always has a good buzz and music, perfect for catching up with mates. Just wish the tables weren't so close together, makes it a bit tricky to chat.

Sat at the bar and had the grilled halibut. The wine list had a few interesting local whites that paired really well with it.

Best wrap I've had. They actually wrap it properly so it doesn't fall apart. Partner's mixed kebab was good too.

Loved the mussel and asparagus risotto here. It was creamy but the asparagus still had a nice bite to it. A proper Sicilian spot, service was quick too.

The queue was long, as expected for this place. But they’ve always had everything in stock when I’ve visited, which is pretty good for how busy it gets.
