This place is a hidden gem! The combination of great food, attentive service, and spectacular views makes it a must-visit. I was particularly impressed with the cocktails and the overall dining experience.

No. 3 of Restaurants for Views & Experiences in Newcastle upon Tyne

The pistachio dessert was a real highlight. Not too sweet, with a lovely texture. Coffee was strong and smooth. Prices felt fair for the quality.

Great spot for a celebration. The unlimited quality meats are a real treat, though it's definitely a premium experience.

Perfect spot for a quick coffee break. Grabbed a scone before they sold out - still warm and really hit the spot. Coffee was strong and fast. Just what you need when you're in a rush.

First time here, had the Chef's Feast. Good choice. Each dish was explained, flavours changed as you ate. Pretty busy for 4:30pm, so you'll need a booking. I'll be back.

Lovely, relaxed spot. The decor with all the plants and books is beautiful. What really stood out was the staff's care with my nut allergy. They checked everything thoroughly, which made me feel so at ease. A real plus for anyone with dietary concerns.

The coffee's good and the pastries look nice. But I was a bit surprised by the price for a simple slice of cake and a flat white. It felt a little steep for what it was, especially downstairs where it's mostly grab-and-go.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The pizza dough was surprisingly light, and the prawns starter had a nice kick. Just what I needed.

The pizza by the slice is really good here, and the location is handy. Grabbed a couple of slices and a beer after browsing the shops next door. A solid spot in Ouseburn, though it can get a bit busy.

The mixed chicken grill was huge, we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Selina was so nice, checking on us a couple of times without being overbearing.

Birthday dinner. The fillet steaks were spot on, cooked exactly as requested. Sides were decent. Service was efficient, though it got a bit slow later in the evening. Good for a reliable meal in this area.

Quick bite at lunch. The bread is from Pink Lane Bakery, meat from Charlotte's Butcher's. You can taste the difference. Made for a solid sandwich. Got my order fast, which is what I needed.

The wine list was a pleasant surprise, and the sea bass was cooked just right. They even brought an ice bucket for the water without us asking.

Came in for a drink. The menu had a braised pork belly that caught my eye. Looked like it had a good glaze. Might go back just to try that.

Been coming here for years, and the discount for veterans is always appreciated. It's a nice touch that hasn't changed. Service is consistently solid, which is what keeps me coming back.

The service was really on point. Laura and Luke were great - they knew the wine list inside out and helped us pick a bottle that went perfectly with the lamb. Made the whole evening relaxed.

Loved the coffee served in a half-pint glass to look like a Guinness. Such a clever little detail that made my morning latte feel a bit more fun.

The portion sizes here are huge for the price. We had a full meal with a couple of drinks and it was still under £80, which is pretty good for the city centre.

Sean the doorman was a highlight, very funny. The burger was pretty good, too.

The bottomless brunch is such a good deal for catching up with mates. The cocktails kept coming and were actually really nice. Food was decent and came out super fast, which is perfect when you're chatting and don't want a big wait.

Always come here before the Newcastle game. The vibe is spot on, and the staff are lovely. Even on quiet days, it's nice for a pint and a bite. The menu's got loads to choose from, which is a bonus.

Mark the manager really looked after us. He checked in a few times to make sure everything was okay, which was nice. The whole place is super clean and the team are friendly.

Been coming here for years. Christina and the team remember you, always have a friendly chat. Makes a simple meal feel like catching up with old mates. That's what keeps me coming back.

The fruit shakes and Thai iced tea are a must. Really cuts through the spice of the curries. Had a Chang beer too, which was just right. Prices are fair for the area.

Been coming here for years for their Sunday roast. The Yorkshire puddings are always huge, and you can ask for extra gravy, which I always do. It's a proper, no-fuss meal.

Lovely, warm spot. The staff were great, really attentive. Food was fresh and authentic. I particularly enjoyed the wine list - a nice selection that paired well with the seafood. A solid choice for a relaxed evening out.

The Art Deco meets colonial India vibe is so well done. It’s stylish but still feels warm and inviting, not at all stuffy. Just a really nice place to sit and have a meal.

A real hidden gem for authentic Caribbean food. The jerk chicken and macaroni pie tasted just like I remembered from the islands.

Vegan burger was sold out, but they suggested the halloumi one instead. Really glad they did! The halloumi was grilled perfectly, nice and crispy on the outside. Flavours were spot on.
