The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was the highlight. Warm center, cold scoop on top, solid combo. Rest of the food was fine, just not as spicy as I'd like.

The fondue was really good, and the staff were friendly. The interior does make you feel like you're somewhere in the French Alps, which I appreciated. Just a heads up, the seating is a bit snug, so if you're tall, it might be a little tight. But overall, a pleasant spot for a relaxed meal.

The restaurant has a clean and calm environment, perfect for a quiet meal. The food was very good, and the service was decent, making it a pleasant dining experience.

I was so glad to find this restaurant for having special dinner event with my wonderful team. The reservation, the atmosphere, the food, the drink, the service, everything went well. Very happy with this restaurant!

Small spot with a real living-room feel. Persian rugs, warm lights, that kind of cozy. Food's decent but the pace is slow—not the place if you're in a rush. I had the lamb dish, took a while to come out. Fine for a lazy afternoon, just don't expect a quick bite.

Came here with my partner and we both loved it. The pad thai and beef in oyster sauce were both delicious, and the service was quick and friendly.

Unlike other places at the beach, here the personeel and management were great! Good service! Nice food! Reasonable price! Thanks!!!

Friendly conservatory-style restaurant in a quiet part of Hoofddorp with free parking right outside the door. View over a lake and green surroundings. More tables available on the terrace in nice weather. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food very good (I had the soup of the day which was carrot and coconut, zeebaars en papilotte) and nicely presented although menu is not extensive and was the same as on my previous visit about a month ago. I ate with a friend and paid €100 including tip for bread, starter, main course, coffee/tea and two soft drinks each.

Omakase with sake pairing. Fish was super fresh, sake picks were interesting. Pace lagged a bit between courses though. Quality made up for it.

The location is great kids can play on the beach, parents can enjoy a nice cocktail. The view is fantastic. The food is nice d the service is good

It was a great evening, starters were delightful, meat was cooked perfectly, so was fish, and the desserts were wonderful.Very high value for the price, and I haven’t even mentioned how the service was great yet.Must visit place.

The coquille here is really something else—that marinade just works. I’ve been a few times now and it’s consistently good. Portion size is decent for what you pay, which honestly matters more to me than fancy plating. Staff were friendly enough, didn’t hover. One of the better spots around for a casual dinner without breaking the bank.

Decent lunch spot near the office. Had the grilled chicken salad, it was fresh and filling. Prices are fair for the area. Staff was friendly, didn't have to wait long. Place gets a bit busy around noon, but that's expected. Pretty good if you're in the neighborhood.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the vibe was perfect for catching up. Food was solid, we ordered a few things to share and everything came out quick. Only thing is it’s pretty dark inside, like hard to see the menu dark 😅 but kinda cozy too. Would come back if we’re in the area again.

I was impressed by the attentive service and the cozy ambiance of the restaurant. The 7-course surprise menu was a fantastic experience, and the wine pairings were spot on!

Salads are always fresh here, that's why I keep coming back. Lunch gets busy though, so expect a short wait. Try to hit it before 12 or after 1:30.

The sushi and truffle dishes were solid, no complaints there. Cocktails are creative too, but honestly the portion size left me a bit hungry for what we paid. It's a stylish place, just gets loud later in the evening. Fine for a one-off, but I'd think twice before making it a regular spot.

Still my go-to for Chinese in Amsterdam. Had the sizzling beef and a decent Gewürztraminer that actually stood up to the spice. Place was buzzing, but service kept up fine. Portions are generous, maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but the wine list makes up for it. Comfort food done right.

The avocado bagel was good, but sitting near that open door got chilly. Staff seemed off after we asked to close it.

The terrace is perfect for people-watching, honestly such a cute spot. Service dragged a bit but the pastries made up for it 😅

Best burrito I've had around here, hands down. That habanero sauce actually delivers—asked for spicy and my mouth was on fire, in a good way. Portion's massive too, could easily split one. Only thing is no seating inside, so you're eating on the go. Still worth it though.

The fried rice with roast chicken had this nice savory kick, and the pickled onions + green beans really balanced it out. Only tiny letdown—just one piece of plantain on the side. I wanted more of that sweetness. Still, a solid quick bite if you're in the area.

Good food and location next to the pier is beautiful. We ordered some tapas, like garlic gambas, potatoes, lamb with yogurt sauce and eggplant, hummus etc.

Service was spot on and the fish tasted properly fresh. Right by the marina, so you get that nice breeze while you eat. Portion size was decent for the price, not huge but fair. I’d sit here again if I’m in the area. Maybe a bit busy around lunch, but that’s fine.

An excellent Italian restaurant with well-cooked pasta and delightful desserts. The service was attentive and made the experience even better.

George and his team has made their best so we had the best if time. And we did !! Great evening, wonderful food, deserves a visit. We’ll come back for sure next time we’re in Amsterdam !!

The apple pie alone is worth stopping in for. Warm, buttery crust, not too sweet inside. Had a steak too, that was decent, but honestly the pie stole the whole show. Prices are fair for Amsterdam.
