Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The outdoor seating is perfect for watching people go by. Service stayed sharp even though it was packed. Vegetarian bitterballen came out piping hot, crispy on the outside. Exactly what I needed after a long day.

Great spot for people-watching. Had the burger and a beer, prices are fair for the area. Service was quick even though it was busy. Window seat makes it worth it.

Came here for a drink last week. Marina took care of us, friendly without being over the top. Cocktails were properly made, not too sweet. Place has a decent vibe, relaxed enough to actually talk. Fine spot if you're in the center and want a quiet drink. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Great people-watching spot right in the Red Light District. Got a window seat on a warm day, frozen glass for my Heineken was a nice touch. Prices a bit steep though, but you pay for the location.

The Affligem Tripel they suggested was strong and tasty. Staff made us feel like regulars right away.

The cocktail selection at this bar is impressive, and the bartenders are skilled at crafting drinks tailored to your preferences.

Restaurant in De L’Europe Amsterdam – the Leading Hotels of the World

Stumbled into this place on a warm evening and grabbed a seat on the terrace. Good beer selection, nothing fancy, but the vibe was just right for people-watching. Bartender knew his stuff when I asked for a recommendation. Wish the wine list was a bit longer, but honestly, the crowd and the atmosphere made up for it. Solid spot to unwind.

The staff really know their wines and are happy to help you pick. They even let you taste before choosing a glass, which I appreciated.

We grabbed a table on the terrace facing the church. Nice spot for watching people go by. The heater helped since it got chilly. Had the bitterballen and a beer, portion was decent for the price. Not the cheapest on the square, but you're paying for the view. Fine for a quick stop.

Stopped by for a quick beer and the bartender was really friendly. Handy spot if you're waiting for the bus across the street.

Nice spot for a drink, that's for sure. The view over the water is lovely, especially later in the evening. Cocktails are solid, nothing fancy but well made. Only downside, service gets a bit stretched when it's packed. Took a while to get our second round. Still, decent place to wind down.

The owner actually knows the story behind every single brew. Got a solid local recommendation and left happy. No wonder it keeps getting named one of the best beer spots around.

No. 10 of Bars in Amsterdam

A hidden gem for cocktail lovers! The drinks are not only well-prepared but also served in unique glasses, adding to the overall experience.

Stopped in for a late drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The cocktail list is short but well thought out — my negroni was properly made, not too sweet. Ordered a few small plates to go with it; the food does the job. Bartender knew when to chat and when to leave you alone. Place has that easy, unpretentious feel. Wouldn't mind coming back on a quieter weeknight.

The pulpo with chorizo was the best thing I ate all week. Tender, smoky, that combo just works. Oysters were fresh too, no complaints there. Cocktails though... my spicy margarita had zero heat, and the Paloma was basically sugar water. Stick to wine and the food, skip the bar.

Came for a drink, stayed way longer than planned because of the games. Staff were really friendly, place felt cozy without being cramped. Tried the apple pie too — that’s the one thing I’d actually order again. Maybe not the most exciting spot, but it does what it does well.

Stopped by for a beer and ended up staying longer than planned. The owner actually takes time to talk, not just the usual small talk. Told him what I usually drink and he picked something spot on. Prices are okay for the area, not cheap but not crazy either. Place has that local feel you don't always get in the center.

Very nice place to have a bite nearby the central station. I like coming here for the food and cozy Spanish atmosphere. Would come again and definitely recommend!

Came here on a weeknight and the place had a nice mix of people, not just one crowd. Music was loud enough to feel lively but we could still talk without shouting. Chairs were actually comfortable, which is rare for a bar. Stayed longer than I planned.

Came here with a couple of friends after a walk in the park. The elderflower lemonade was so refreshing, exactly what we needed. Location is super convenient, right on the corner. We sat outside and just chilled for a while. Service was fine, nothing crazy, but the vibe made up for it. Would come back if I'm in the area again 🌿

The corner spot really comes alive when it gets warm out. People just spill onto the street with their drinks. I grabbed a local craft beer, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Place was buzzing, maybe a bit too loud if you want actual conversation. But for a relaxed evening drink, it worked.

Decent spot for a proper meal. Sea bass was nicely done, pretty tasty. Place has a good vibe, not too loud. It's on the pricier side, but the food holds up. Wouldn't come here every week, but fine for a change.

Cozy spot, loved the vibe. Merel took good care of us, super friendly. Food was tasty, would stop by again if I'm in the neighborhood.

Tucked away from the busy streets, this place is a proper little find. Coffee actually tastes like a real barista made it. Friendly service too.

Lovely little spot in the center. The patatas bravas were properly crispy, best I've had here. Sangria was decent too. Portion sizes are fair for what you pay.

The apple pie is solid, real Dutch style. Irish coffee hits the spot too. Staff could be more on top of things, but the pie alone keeps me coming back.
