A nice quiet spot to rest after a day out. The shaved ice was pretty good, light and not too sweet. The space itself is comfortable. Just wish I’d found it sooner.

The Asuka Ruby parfait was a nice treat. Good portion of strawberries, decently creamy. A bit sweet for my taste, but a solid way to finish up.

The Yamagata beef here is so tender, just melts in your mouth. The marbling was really beautiful. I had a very comfortable seat by the window, which made the whole meal feel relaxing. A nice, quiet spot for a solo dinner.

The Asukaji set is good value. The nyumen soup had shrimp tempura and sesame tofu, broth was nicely balanced.

Imai Zen's set lunch is a solid deal. The tempura was freshly fried, nice and crisp. You get a good variety of sides with rice and soba too. For the price, the portion is quite generous.

The seasonal strawberry daifuku was lovely. The strawberry inside was so fresh and juicy, which balanced the sweet bean paste nicely. A very thoughtful combination.

The Nara Lunch set was perfect for trying a bit of everything. Loved the variety of local flavors in one go. Portion was just right for me!

The Yamato black tea here is from Nara, and the aroma is lovely. I had it with their warabi mochi, a nice pairing. What stood out was how comfortable the chairs were—I could sit and enjoy my tea for a long time without feeling rushed. A very pleasant spot.

The Halloween shaved ice was a real treat! The presentation was so creative, really captured the spooky vibe. The texture was nice and fluffy too. A fun little seasonal surprise.

Spacious inside with those tall booths. Felt private enough to just chill by myself for a while. Good spot to zone out over a coffee.

The Nagasaki Champon is packed with fresh veggies. Generous portion, and free extra noodles. Their house sake was a nice, simple pairing.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is very attentive. However, please be aware that the prices are somewhat high, so it's something to consider when planning your visit.

The portions here are huge, definitely got my money's worth. Couldn't finish my pasta, had to ask for a box. Good for a big appetite!

The sourdough loaf has a perfect crust and a chewy, tangy interior. It's the kind of bread you keep tearing pieces off of long after you get home. They sometimes sell out by the afternoon, so you have to get there early.

Been coming here for years. The staff always remember my order, and the warm Baumkuchen with coffee is my go-to.

Stumbled upon this place in Naramachi. Much quieter than the park area, which was a relief. The udon was simple but good, broth had a nice depth. Just what I needed after walking around.

Clean and bright spot. Good for a break after walking around Nara. Plenty of seats. Just needed a place to sit for a bit.
