Food was solid, but the service felt a bit off when we asked for help. Good spot for a casual catch-up though 😅

Stopped by for a quick dinner last week. Staff were friendly and actually paid attention when I mentioned a nut allergy — that put me at ease. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the bill felt a bit steep for what you get. Fine if you're in the area, just don't expect a bargain.

Came here for lunch and honestly left pretty full. Portions are big for the price, which I didn’t expect. I got the pasta and it was solid—nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Place gets busy around noon, so you might have to wait a bit. Fine for a quick bite though.

Spacious room with cool smart light controls, though that steep staircase to the bathroom caught me off guard.

Food was alright, nothing crazy. Took a while to get served but the view kinda made up for it. Place feels a bit tired inside though. Fine for a quick bite if you're already in the area.

Been coming here for years now. The taste never changes, always the same solid quality. That's honestly why I keep going back. Portions are fair for what you pay too. Not flashy, just dependable.

The staff were really welcoming and my lamb tikka tandoori was spot on. Portions were generous too, felt fair for what you pay.

The self-service kiosks make it easy to order, and the food came out fresh. I grabbed a quick lunch here on a weekday, no complaints. Just be aware it gets packed, especially on weekends. I'd say go early if you can, otherwise you might struggle to find a seat.

Quality of the ingredients really stands out, and the price felt fair for what you get. Place has a warm, no-fuss vibe to it.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed the seafood pasta. Pretty solid, sauce was rich and the prawns were fresh. Place has a nice cozy vibe, not too loud. Owner came by to ask how things were, which felt genuine. Maybe a bit slow between courses, but I wasn't in a rush. Would sit outside next time.

Tried this place for the first time last night and the vegetarian sushi really caught me off guard—so fresh, and the texture was spot on. Tempura was solid too, crispy without being greasy. Staff were friendly, not overbearing. Only thing is the place got a bit loud later in the evening, but I'd still go back for those rolls.

Pizza was solid, no question. Pair it with one of their Italian reds and you're set. Place gets busy, so go early.

Coffee’s decently priced and the seasonal menu had some fun twists. Staff actually noticed when I needed a refill. Nice little spot to just hang out with a book.

Went for Valentine's Day, they gave us a rose and some chocolates. Nice touch, not gonna lie. Food was proper refined, every dish felt thought through. Service was spot on too. For the quality you get, the price is honestly fair. Only thing is the place got a bit busy later, but that's on us for going at peak time.

Steak was properly seasoned and the fries did the job. Pair it with a decent red and you're set. Just expect a wait if you show up late.

The staff here are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, perfect for a relaxing meal.

The calf’s liver here is the real deal. Cooked properly, still tender, not overcooked like most places do. The homemade croquettes are solid too, crispy outside, creamy inside. Been around for ages, and you can tell they know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Didn’t care much about the rest, but the food held up fine.

Stopped by for dinner and ordered the steak. Meat was properly tender, cooked the way I asked. Owner came by our table a couple times, seemed genuinely interested if everything was alright. Bill came out fair for what you get. Nothing fancy about the place, but it does the job.

We basically ate here every single day while we were in town. The portions are solid for what you pay, and the food stayed consistent each time. Service was fine too, nothing to complain about. Honestly, for the price, it's hard to beat. Just don't expect anything fancy, it's straightforward and filling.

The gnocchi was the standout. Pillowy, light, not the usual dense dough balls you get everywhere. Steak was cooked properly too. We had a kid with us who only eats pasta, and they made him something creamy with pancetta that he actually finished. Waiter helped with the French menu, which was handy. Solid spot.

Healthy food, interesting concept, service could be better, explaining what is on the plates and being more attentive to the customers; atmosphere a bit cold

Came here on a random weekday, no fuss. Portions are really decent for what you pay, that set menu is honestly a solid deal. Service was friendly, nothing over the top, just fine. Place itself is pretty basic though, tables a bit close together. But for a quick bite, it does the job.

The nacho pizza is such a fun twist—really flavorful, and the toppings felt fresh. I’ve been back a few times just for that. Staff were friendly too, happy to suggest things when I couldn’t decide. Maybe not the healthiest choice, but worth it once in a while.

Pleasant restaurant with friendly and correct service. Acoustics in order: it was busy but not excessively noisy. The food was tasty and plates beautifully presented. We had to wait quite a long time for our starter (45 minutes).Visited again in 2024, staff was friendly and spontaneously offered to make a new meal: I ordered fish with sweet and sour sauce, but what I got was a kind of soy sauce that would have a bit of a sweet and sour touch. Soy sauce always makes me nauseous. I put the plate aside, they offered to make fish with sweet and sour sauce as I expected. Great service! This were the 2 dishes that I have ordered. Yen tafoh and pla laad prik. It was very good

Stopped by after seeing some iffy reviews—glad I ignored them. Had the ribeye, cooked properly, decent char. The sauce was a bit heavy for my taste but the fries made up for it. Place was busy but not chaotic. Left full, no complaints.

The shrimp sandwich is what keeps me coming back. Simple, fresh, and they don’t skimp on the filling. Staff were friendly and quick, even during the lunch rush. The terrace is a decent spot to sit for a bit, though it can get a little busy. Fine for a casual stop if you’re in Waterloo.
