The staff were super friendly and tried hard to help even with my limited Japanese. It made the whole meal feel really warm and welcoming.

The breakfast buffet was a real treat. I'm picky about scrambled eggs, and theirs were spot on - creamy, not rubbery. The staff noticed my daughter eyeing the pastries and brought her a fresh croissant. They even tracked down my forgotten jacket. Made our family morning so smooth.

Stopped by this izakaya for a late dinner. The squid ink fried noodles were really good, had a nice smoky flavor. The place was packed and pretty loud, but that's the vibe. Drinks kept coming fast with the all-you-can-drink.

Been coming here for years. The black chicken curry is my go-to. It's got a good kick, really flavorful. Just the right amount of spice for a cold evening.

Tried the Kyoto dinner set with the 8-sun platter. Portions are small, but you get a lot of different things so it fills you up. The owner being from Kyoto shows in the details. Just wish the place had better ventilation, the frying oil smell kinda lingers.

Been coming here for years. The thick-cut pork offal is fresh, just like it's always been. Even saw some athletes in training stop by once. That's about it.

The owner was so sweet! She patiently walked us through the menu and even offered to take a few photos for us. Made the whole visit feel really welcoming.

The awamori selection here is incredible. I spent a good while just reading the labels on the aged bottles behind the bar. Found one from the 90s! The whole wall felt like a quiet library for spirits.

Stopped in for a coffee break. The house special was smooth with a light coconut taste. But for the price, I expected a slightly larger cup size. It's decent, just not a huge portion.

The set course portions were huge! We shared a few plates with friends and still couldn't finish everything. Left feeling super full and happy. 😊

The fish here is so fresh. I had the fried gurukun and the champuru, and you can really taste the quality of the local ingredients. It's a nice, healthy choice. The place is quite lively, but the focus on freshness is what stood out for me.

Been coming here for years. The set menu's still under ¥1000, and you get a proper, filling plate. Tastes just like home cooking. Portions are generous, never leave hungry.

The chicken salad was fine, fresh veggies and decent chicken. Paid a bit extra for the black curry set, and it's pretty good value - rice and curry refills are included. The curry flavor is rich, kind of addictive. Place was busy but still relaxed.

This place has a real old-school teahouse feel. I like that it's mostly locals, so it's quiet. The coffee was fine, and I sat on the terrace to smoke. The brunch menu looked good, but my sandwich was a bit dry. Still, a nice spot to unwind.

The somen champuru here is so good! It had a really nice garlic kick. The izakaya vibe is cozy, perfect for catching up with friends over dinner.

Late-night solo dinner near the hotel. Champuru was just right. Cold Orion hit the spot. Simple and good.

Found this place on Kokusai-dori. The mapo tofu was smooth and the mild spice was perfect. Portion size was decent for the price.

Been here a few times. The Okinawan classics are solid, portions are big enough to share. Got the rafute last night, really hit the spot. A bit on the pricier side for the neighborhood, but you get what you pay for.

The soy sauce cheese is a great starter with drinks. The vibe is relaxed and the seats are comfortable.

The coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but the chocolate cake was the real star. Moist, rich, and not overly sweet. I'd go back just for that slice.

The make-your-own seafood bowl at the breakfast buffet is a must. I loaded mine with tons of fresh salmon roe, some tuna, and scallops. It’s so fun to customize it exactly how you want.
