The hazelnut ice cream was so good! You can tell they use local ingredients. The place has a really cozy vibe, with those big wooden tables and soft lighting. Perfect for just grabbing a treat.

Quick lunch spot. Truffle carbonara was solid, good flavors. Family-run vibe keeps it simple.

Seafood is solid. The gnocchi with scampi cream was my pick for a quick lunch. Paccheri alla norma was good too. Mixed fried fish starter is decent. Got my order in 15 minutes.

The all-you-can-eat sushi is a solid deal. I kept ordering the salmon nigiri—the fish was super fresh, and they didn't skimp. Tried a small carafe of warm sake with it, which was nice.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. They gave us some good suggestions for the menu, and the whole evening felt very relaxed. A nice place for a quiet dinner.

Solid spot for a quick lunch. The chicken parm was decent, not too heavy. Service was efficient, got my order in and out in under 30 minutes. Prices are fair for the area. Good for a straightforward meal between meetings.

I searched for hours to find a restaurant that could cater for vegans and various food intolerances, good for young children, opening early enough and with reviews of the food good enough for a special birthday celebration. Bistre is EVERYTHING I wanted. The kids loved it. The service was superb with attention from the chef to make special dishes for several members of our party. Antipasti was brilliant. Main dishes were flawless with the salmon, risotto (off menu) and tagliata worthybod special mention. Desserts were also excellent and the wine was great. The price was amazingly good value for what we got and when we're back in this area,.we will visit again without hesitation. Thank you Bistre. It was an unforgettable evening because of your care and attention and wonderful food!

We have eaten here every year in the summer over the last 4 years . The steak is perfectly and theatrically cooked . The roast potatoes are delicious and the onion soaked in local Sagrantino wine is a great side dish . The service is great despite the language barrier if you don’t speak Italian . Highly recommend it

A lovely and delicious lunch. Roasted rabbit was particularly good as was the labyrinth starter that included many small tastes. The tour of the Etruscan ruins underneath was a stunning surprise. Very pleasant.

They squeezed us in as a big group, no booking! Staff were so patient explaining the menu. The wild boar with that traditional sauce was the star – rich and tender.

Fantastic food - we loved our lunch and the table was treated with a complimentary dish from the kitchen, which was yummy!

Highly recommend this place for its excellent quality and fair prices. The owner and staff are professional and friendly, making you feel right at home while enjoying a delicious meal.

The open grill in the corner is such a nice touch. It gives the whole place a warm, cozy feel. Felt very intimate, just right for a date.

Had a nice lunch in their garden. The space is beautiful, really makes you want to just sit and stay awhile. Tried a couple of the local dishes, which were good. A very relaxed spot.

Cozy little place inside the walls. Had dinner on the terrace, the soft evening lighting was just right. The wine list was decent, found a nice local red that paired well with the pasta. A bit on the pricier side for the portion, but the atmosphere made up for it.

Been coming here for years. Staff is always friendly, especially with my kid. They handle big groups no problem and take time to explain the menu. It's just a comfortable spot to eat.

Great spot for a quick lunch near the Papal Palace. Food looks good, tastes fresh. Service is fast, which is key for me. Got my order and was out the door in no time. Solid choice when you're in a hurry.

A nice find just off the main piazza. Simple and friendly, with solid Umbrian food. The local wines were pretty good and fairly priced. Made for a decent lunch stop.
