Cafe Hans en Grietje

We had a lovely table outside while eating a lovely dinner we watched the Amsterdam world go by which made the experience really unforgettable. Thank you to the lovely staff (Australian) member When back in Amsterdam we’ll be back to Hans en Grietje too.

Cosy little restaurant and bar serving lovely Dutch food. We particularly loved the fondue and pancakes (No one does pancakes like the Dutch). Service was excellent, too!

We ate outdoors, like most patrons. We highly recommend the schnitzel and the sole. The people-watching is good. Service was a little slow for lack of waitstaff, but those on duty were capable and friendly.

Cute place, beer was excellent, waitstaff were nice and engaging. Food was good, and they warned us that service would be slow because staff member was out will an illness….so no complaints. Ambiance was the best part of the meal.

Great little spot with some good food and ambiance. Service was friendly and welcoming. Well located near major museums and public transport - it's easy to find, tucked away on a lovely corner.
