Grand Café Lido

Loved this place! Nice vibes, food was really good, specially the truffle raviolis. Thank you Zoe and other colleague for providing top-notch service!

The service was great and we were seated quickly in a great table in the window. The food was very good. We both had the coconut soup which was fantastic and had a theatrical flair when being served. We then both had the beef poke bowl which was very filling and the meat was perfectly cooked. We wish we could have dined here again during our stay, but we didn't have time.

Lovely location on a canal just a short walk from the museums. Food selection and quality was very good, tho don’t come here expecting large portion sizes. The restaurant really needs to find a way to care @ the service. It was surprisingly terrible. Slow, no returning to the table to check in if food was ok or if we wanted more drinks. Then drinks forgotten and they weren’t busy at this point in the day. There were also 4-6 or more waiters so we really couldn’t figure it out. In the end we were happy with our table along the canal, which I’d requested, but when we arrived (a little early since we suspected it could be very busy on a beautiful day), we were told that would not be possible, they didn’t honor requests on reservations. Then we were told the manager said we didn’t have a reservation. This was all a very insulting way to start our experience since we did have a reservation and there were plenty of tables. Maybe next time they should just say they don’t want anymore customers for the day. (It was 5:30 pm since we had a 7:00 entry to an art exhibit at the Rijksmuseum). Disappointing since the location is lovely and the food was high quality. Thankfully everyone in our group was happy to be together so we decided to let it all roll off and enjoy the experience anyway.

Very nice place with good food and great service. Definitely recommend.
