Bastille Best

Once again an excellently composed menu with surprising flavours and matching good wines. A real recommendation if you want to enjoy food.

There are days when everything goes well! This was one of them. Nice temperature, an attractive sun and a perfectly situated terrace. Add to that a delicious meal, a host for whom nothing is too much trouble and voilà Bastille! I will be back soon!

Usually I choose the fish salad. Now too. It's great not to have to search for fish and shrimps between the lettuce leaves! I had such a delicious meal again! My company too. She had a carpaccio sandwich. Later we said: nice, having lunch together in silence :) They should not make the food so incredibly tasty... And how nice it is to hear when you come in: can you find us again? I had indeed not been there for a while, but not for long. And I will be back. Very soon!

Once again we enjoyed a great 6-course dinner with matching wines. The vegetarian version was surprising and very tasty as well as the non-vegetarian version. Good matching wines. Really recommended.

Very tasty food, good service and very hospitable staff, only it was very quiet for a Friday night. Which we did not understand. Recommended as far as we are concerned!
