Both are fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and was fun to recall some of my language skills left over from living in Indonesia 60 plus years ago!But the real star of the show is the food. Resto Indo Rasa offers a wide variety of Indonesian dishes that are bursting with flavor and spice. Whether you're a fan of spicy food or prefer milder options, there's something for everyone on the menu.The Soto Ayam is a flavorful and comforting chicken soup that is perfect for any day of the week. Made with tender chicken, rice noodles, and a rich broth made with turmeric and lemongrass, this dish is a true comfort food. It's the perfect combination of savory and spicy, with a slight hint of sweetness that makes it irresistible.But if you're in the mood for something more indulgent, you must try the Rendang, a dish that originates in Sumatra and is often on a list of the world's 10 best meals. This dish is cooked for an impressive 3 days, allowing the meat to become incredibly tender and infused with rich, complex flavors. . The slow-cooked beef is simmered in a blend of spices and coconut milk, creating a thick, hearty sauce that is the perfect accompaniment to steamed rice. Small restaurant, friendly service, truly lovely people, delicious food. The most delicious cendol. Satay just the way it should be. On the downside, it would be more pleasant if the wine was poured, but the food was delicious.

What a lovely and cozy little restaurant in the center of Haarlem. We had a delicious meal. Everything was freshly prepared and kept at the perfect temperature. The hosts were lovely and attentive. You felt completely welcome. We'll definitely be back!

Cozy little restaurant with a delicious rijsttafel (rice table) and attentive service. Omelette, lots of vegetables, shrimp, and fried plantain—delicious!
