We had a great 6 course dinner and matching wines, very nice surprises and beautiful looking fishes. Especially the crispy rice on the mackerel was something I’ll remember as ‘it was rice with a surprise’. On the noise and initial sun… that is the charm of a good restaurant. What we didn’t like so much how too many small (outside) tables were squeezed in and how small the table were. Staff was knowledagble and very friendly.

Nice & cosy atmosphere, delicious food and lovely wines.Romantic dinner with kind interactions with other clients.Price-/quality level fitted well.We will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. .

Great restaurant with a very cozy and intimate atmosphere, delicious food, excellent wine pairings and very welcoming service - and all of that on an appropriate price level! We’ll be back next when we’ll be in Middelburg.
I like to diner in a restaurant where they serve surprise menu's. Within some preferences, the staff served us an excellent diner with most of the ingrediences from the season.
