Wonderful evening with traditional Dutch cuisine done in a upscale way. De Bruggemeester was a gem in a small village that we never would have known about if it weren&rsquo;t for The Fork. We had an absolutely delightful dinner and there was something for everyone. My in-laws especially loved the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Voor de eerste keer hier gegeten. Het was heerlijk! De hoofdgerechten hebben ons beiden goed gesmaakt en de groenten die erbij werden geserveerd smaakten ons heerlijk. Ook de service was heel goed, we komen zeker nog eens terug!

Zoals altijd weer lekker gegeten in ons eigen dorp! Top bediening en mooie en lekkere gerechten en wijnen. Vanavond was de vangst van de dag, Pieterman vis. Erg lekker. Zeker een aanrader en mijn partner had de vleesspies. En heeft er ook erg van genoten.

As always, we had a wonderful meal in our own village!

Great service and beautiful, delicious dishes and wines.
Tonight we had the catch of the day, Pieterman fish. Delicious. Definitely recommended, and my partner had the meat skewer.
And he really enjoyed it too.

We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen en hebben prima gegeten in een gezellige knusse ambiance ! De bediening was erg attent. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch with courgette soup and a nice roll and homemade butter. A good meal! 
My wife started with an apple juice and I had a dry white wine. During the meal I had apple juice and my wife rooibos tea. We were sitting in the conservatory and it was raining very hard on the roof! I had once bought Romero cheese at the market in Woerden. The owner chopped some Romero farm cheese on a saucer and let us taste it. This cheese is made in IJsselstein at the Elisabeth Hoeve of the Verweij family. 
Because the cheese tasted so good we decided to go home via the cheese farm mentioned. All in all a successful afternoon in Woerden and IJsselstein.

We went here based on reviews we had read. We arrived at 6:30. By 8:30, we still hadn&rsquo;t gotten our main courses. One of our four diners had ordered the five course meal, so the timing was a bit off with that (we should have been counseled about that). We asked a few times about our meal. When food finally came, it was beautiful in every way (although very small portions). We wished that there had been some vegetable side dishes. We were very disappointed with the timing. D
