The full English is cooked just right. Good value for money in town. Coffee could be a touch stronger for my taste.

Lovely meal here! The service was decent, didn't have to wait ages for anything. Prices felt reasonable for what you get. I'd definitely swing by again.

Lovely cod and chips by the river. The batter was spot on, crispy and light. Fish was a good size, chips were decent too. Service was friendly. A bit pricey for what it is, but the sunny spot made it worthwhile.

First time here and the breakfast was a real find. The cooked breakfast is spot on, especially the local bacon and eggs. Just the right kind of fry-up to start the day.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The steak and ale pie was steaming hot, really hit the spot on a cold day. Nice to see a few dogs chilling with their owners too.

The staff here are always so nice. I love how you can just scan the QR code on the table to order—it makes everything super quick and easy. No waiting around to flag someone down!

The team here are so lovely and really looked after us. They tweaked a couple of dishes for my friend who’s a bit picky, which was a really nice touch. Made our catch-up feel extra relaxed.

The calves liver special had this intense sweet-savory sauce. Honestly, the portion was generous for the price. We left feeling very full, which is a win in my book. Service was friendly, no complaints there.

Loved the maritime theme here, so many interesting artifacts to look at. The fish and chips were good, but what really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The peas were bright and the fish tasted very clean. A solid choice for a simple, well-made meal.

Dog-friendly spot with water bowls and treats at the bar. Our dog was happy, which made the visit smooth. Convenient for a quick stop.

Catching up with friends over a lovely evening. The round table was great for conversation, and the cozy atmosphere inside was just right. The wine list had a nice local red that paired well with our shared plates. A bit on the pricey side for the pours, but a solid spot.

Busy night with a big group, but the service was spot on. They kept things moving, never felt rushed or forgotten. Really smooth operation.

Nice to see solid vegan choices alongside the classics. The wine list had a good pairing for the mushroom dish.

The staff were so helpful with my dietary needs, and the seats were actually comfortable. Really appreciated that.

Been coming here for years, and it's always solid. Love that you can pick your potato side - I always go for the roasties. Had a couple of pints and a proper feed with my mate, still under thirty quid.

The carvery station had so much choice! The chef was really friendly, made it a nice spot for a Sunday catch-up with friends.

The downstairs dining room is a total hidden gem! We grabbed a table for four and the portions were huge, perfect for sharing. Prices were really fair too. The vibe down there is much cosier than the bar upstairs.

Lovely spot on the deck for a sunny afternoon. The vibe was relaxed, almost like a little escape. I enjoyed a crisp rosé with my lunch—it paired nicely with the light seafood. A bit pricey for the portion, but the setting made it worthwhile.

The mixed meat Sunday roast was a proper treat. The Yorkshire puddings were homemade and so fluffy, and the cauliflower cheese was spot on. A really good, hearty plate of food.

Sam was our waiter and honestly, he made the night. Just the right amount of attentive, and actually funny. A good server makes such a difference.

Sunday roast for a quick bite. Pork and crackling spot on, massive Yorkshire puddings. Got my food in under 10 minutes, which is a win for me. 👍

The service at Chewton Glen was exceptional, especially from our waitress Vicky, who made our evening feel special. The food exceeded our expectations, particularly the burgers and onion rings!

The portions here are huge, really generous. My lasagna was packed with flavour and came out piping hot. A solid spot for a proper Italian feed.

The Sunday roast was spot on. The beef was cooked just right, still pink inside, and the Yorkshire pudding had a nice crisp edge. The chocolate cake with custard afterwards was a good choice, the custard was warm and not too sweet.

Been here a few times now. The burgers are always solid, and I usually end up trying whatever the weekly special is. It's just a reliable spot.

Great choice of cask ales. The staff really know their stuff and helped me pick one that wasn't too heavy. Perfect for a relaxed pint.

Service is always quick, even when they're packed. The staff are just really friendly, you know? They remember your coffee order after a couple of visits. Makes the whole thing feel easy.

The decor here is spot-on, really feels like a little place in Thailand. Had a great time just soaking it in over a bowl of tom yum.
