We ordered the grilled salmon for my birthday dinner. Loved how fresh the fish was, and the portion of greens on the side was generous. A nice, simple meal that felt good.

Came here for a quick lunch. The slow-cooked beef was spot on, really tender. Service was fast, which is what I needed. Got me in and out in no time. 👍

The gnocchi was the star for me. So light and pillowy, but still rich. The whole plate looked like a little piece of art. Just a lovely, quiet lunch.

Loved the Gandhi Special curry here, such a unique dish! Perfect spot to try something different with friends.

Been here a few times. They're good with allergies - swapped out toppings on my pizza, no fuss at all. Makes it easy to eat out.

The gluten-free chicken and leek pie was spot on. A proper find for a coeliac, and no extra charge for the GF menu.

A lovely old pub with a proper log fire. The atmosphere is nice and cosy, perfect for a quiet pint with a friend. The decor feels authentic. It was a bit busy on a Saturday evening, but still a pleasant spot.

The staff were so kind, even when we arrived near closing. The wine list had a great selection that paired nicely with our meal.

Been coming here for years, and it’s always the same. That’s why I keep coming back. The beer selection is spot on—they’ve kept the same ales on for ages, and they’re always pulled properly. Just feels reliable.

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special evening out. Highly recommend the Achar chicken!

Been coming here for years. The outdoor seating is always nice, especially when you're just off the train.

The food here is a step up from your usual pub fare. My fish and chips were pretty good, with a decently crispy batter. The service was a bit slow, but everyone at our table seemed happy with their meals.

Birthday dinner for ten in the quieter section. The service was attentive. What stood out was the freshness of the ingredients—the greens in my starter were crisp, and the fish tasted just-caught. A lovely, simple meal.

Fran and her team are so lovely, really make you feel at home. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends. The vibe is just right, not too loud so you can actually hear each other! Service was spot on.

Friendly staff, no doubt. But the food really stood out. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, and the sauce had a nice depth to it. Prices felt fair for the quality. A solid spot.

Been coming here for years, and the fish and chips are always spot on. It's my go-to after a walk in the park. The batter stays crispy, and the chips are proper. Just a reliable, no-fuss lunch.

Came for a birthday dinner. Staff were really nice, let us have the garden room for free which was a nice touch. BYO with no corkage is a big plus. Food was decent, but the steak was a bit over for my liking.

Jess was great with the kids. Super smiley and professional. Made the whole dinner way easier.

The Sunday roast was pretty good. Beef came out a nice pink, and the eight different veg were a pleasant touch. The place has a friendly feel, though the roast potatoes could have been a bit crispier.

Been coming here for years. Always grab a seat outside on the quay, watch the boats. Their daily catch is consistently fresh and simple. That's why I keep coming back.

Popped in for a late lunch with the family. The fish and chips were spot on. Mark was a great host, really welcoming. The house red was a decent, easy-drinking choice with the pie. Made for a relaxed end to the day.

The kids loved the indoor play area. Staff kept it very clean, and the wine list had some decent options to enjoy while they played.

Decent portions for the price. Had the chicken curry, plate was full. Good value for a proper sit-down meal.

Stopped in for a pint and ended up staying for dinner. The landlord was really friendly, had a good chat. Classic pub grub, solid fish and chips. Just what you need on a random Tuesday.

Popped in for a quick bite. The place is really cosy and clean, felt relaxed just sitting there. Good spot for a casual family dinner.

Came for a quick lunch. Staff were really nice, even gave a card and a chocolate. Place was quiet and peaceful, which was a nice break. Food came out fast, perfect for a short break.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Their summer cooler was exactly what I needed. Decent portions, got the discount too. Food came out fast, no fuss. Just what you want on a busy day.

Attached to a church, which is a cool vibe. The cafe at the front was packed, so you know it's popular. Super handy being right next to the town centre.
