The festive set menu was a nice surprise. The seabass was really good, and my friend who's into food loved it.

Popped in for a quick drink and the staff really knew their stuff. Helped me pick a gin I'd never have chosen myself – turned out to be a winner. Nice, relaxed spot for it too.

The haggis, neeps and tatties were spot on. The haggis was rich and peppery, the neeps sweet and creamy. The tatties were buttery and smooth. That's a proper plate of food.

Decent pub, staff were friendly. The mac and cheese was a solid choice - really liked the crispy breadcrumb topping. They had a movie playing on the screen in the back, which was a nice touch.

Came on a Saturday. Packed, great energy. Music was loud but not overwhelming. Service stayed quick even when busy. Fun spot.

Perfect for a quick pint before the train. The Guinness is solid, and being right by the station is a huge plus. Got me in and out in 20 mins.

Nice neighbourhood spot, packed with locals. Got the fish and chips, crispy batter and decent portion. That's the proper pub feel I was after. Bit pricey for what it is, but the vibe's spot on.

First time here and loved the vibe. The building has so much history, you can feel it in the old wooden floors and the quirky layout. A proper local spot.

Came for Valentine's lunch. The Eton Mess was just right, not too sweet, and the mini apple crumble still warm. We cleared both plates. Nice little treat.

Spaghetti and meatballs hit the spot. The meatballs were huge, sauce had a nice tang to it. Just what I needed on a random Tuesday.

Loved watching the chefs in the open kitchen! The staff were so friendly even when it was packed. Perfect for catching up with mates.

Stumbled upon this place while wandering around Stirling. The staff were friendly and the vibe was pretty cozy. Had a decent lunch here, though the service was a little on the slow side.

The Scottish breakfast was cooked perfectly, and they accommodated our substitutions without any fuss.

Friendly spot with a solid craft beer list. Had the fish tacos, they were decent, nothing mind-blowing but hit the spot. Good for a casual pint.

Been coming here for years, and the mixed grill is still massive. Even without a deal, you get a ton of food for your money. It's the one thing I know I can always count on.

Popped in for a quick pint and loved how chilled it was. They even brought a water bowl for my dog without me asking. Proper dog-friendly spot.

Nice brunch spot. The French toast with peaches was pretty good, and we got seated quickly even though it was busy.

Stumbled upon this place after wandering the Royal Mile. The back dining area is so quiet, you forget the busy street outside. Had the fish and chips - the batter was really light and crispy. A nice little find.

The pub is much larger than it appears from the entrance, and the live music is top-notch. A great place to enjoy a drink!

Sunday lunch. Scottish tapas menu was a good idea. Three dishes each, plenty. The cheesecake though. Really light.

Jakub at the carvery was a top bloke. Really friendly chat, remembered what I liked from the counter. Made it feel like a proper local spot, not just another pub lunch. That personal touch is nice.

Popped in for a late lunch. The steak was cooked just right, but the real star was the Malbec they suggested. It paired beautifully, really brought out the flavours. Service was spot on, no rush at all. A solid find.

Portions were spot on for me. Not those massive plates you can't finish, but not tiny either. Just a proper, satisfying meal. Nice spot.

The Korean fried chicken bowl was tasty, sticky glaze and all. The space itself is what got me though – high ceilings, big windows, and those comfy booths make a world of difference when you're stuck in an airport. Just feels less hectic.

The pool table was a nice touch, made it feel like a proper local. Staff were friendly, especially the manageress who sorted out a table for us. Good spot to unwind for a bit.

The view of the golf course is lovely, really nice for a quiet lunch. The food was decent, though the service was a little slow. A pretty good spot overall.

Decent spot for a drink. The Guinness looked popular, and they have cocktails on draught which was a nice touch. Staff were efficient, even when it got busy.

This pub has a great atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends over drinks. The staff are friendly and the service is efficient, making it a pleasant place to relax.

Proper old-school pub feel, love the central bar and leather seats. Their cask ales are a real highlight. The Forsyth Juice was my pick of the bunch, really hit the spot.
