Caught a film screening here with their cheese board and a glass of red. The concept works well for a relaxed evening out. The setting is pleasant, though the board itself was a bit basic for the price. Good for something different.

Lovely pub, stayed overnight. The breakfast was huge - full English with all the trimmings. Honestly, the portion was so generous I couldn't finish it. Great for the price paid for the room.

Great spot for a quick bite. Cake selection is top-notch, coffee always hits the spot. Staff are quick and friendly, which is a plus when you're on a tight lunch break.

Nice spot. Winchester sausage roll was tasty. Plenty of seating inside and out. Convenient near the Cathedral gift shop.

Been coming here for years, and the beer garden is always a winner. Plenty of space, and they've got those shaded tables sorted for when the sun's out. It's a proper spot to settle in. The cider on tap is a bit limited, but that's my only gripe.

The new owners are lovely, really welcoming. They've brightened the place up nicely. The food's fresh, good quality. Just a bit too bright for a relaxed evening, the lighting's a touch harsh.

Food's always spot on here. The roasts are a Sunday treat, and their burger is solid. I do wish the wine list had a few more interesting options by the glass to pair with it all. Still, a reliable spot for a good meal.

Busy Tuesday night but the set menu was a great find. The lamb curry in particular was incredible, so rich and tender. Staff were lovely despite the rush.

Lovely, homely spot for a pot of tea. The collection of quirky teapots on display is a real treat. Just a nice, quiet place to unwind for an hour.

A really nice spot for a relaxed dinner. The staff were so friendly and thoughtful, even bringing out a little cake for us. It made the evening feel very easy and pleasant.

Been coming here for years for fish and chips. The seating area is always clean and tidy, which is nice.

Gareth handled the breakfast rush so well. It was packed, but he kept everything moving smoothly and was really friendly. Made for a very relaxed start to the day.

Bright and spacious pub. Good spot for people-watching with that view of the pedestrian area. Drinks are reasonably priced. Just a relaxed vibe.

Kitchen was spotless, which is always a good sign. The whole place just felt really clean and tidy.

Been coming here for years, and it's the staff that keep me coming back. Always remember my usual order, even when it's busy. The karaoke nights are a nice bonus, but honestly, it's the familiar, friendly faces that make it feel like my local spot.

Had our party in the Bosworth suite. The woodfire pizzas were the star – crispy crust, great flavour. Everyone kept going back for more. The team handled a big group really well.

The cakes are definitely sweet, maybe a bit much for some. But you can taste the quality and how fresh they are. That's why it's always busy here!

They've clearly been working on things. Staff were more attentive this time, service felt smoother. My main course arrived hot, which is a basic thing but makes such a difference. A step in the right direction.

The free parking right outside is a real plus. Makes popping in for a quick lunch from the town centre so easy. Had the fish and chips today – the batter was crisp and the chips were proper chunky.

The Sunday roast was spot on. Beef was cooked just right, and the veg had a nice flavour. Service was quick, which was a bonus. A solid Sunday lunch.

Coffee's reliably good, probably the best around. It's a busy local spot, so can be a bit loud for a work call. Got my usual flat white, quick service.

The Big Argyll burger was really good on Monday. Got the beer and burger deal. Sat out on the back patio, it’s covered so was nice even with a bit of drizzle. The patty was juicy and cooked just right.

Stoke Row Store has a lovely charm. The food is fresh and flavourful, and they have a thoughtful wine list that complements the dishes nicely.

Stopped by on a quiet Sunday. My pizza was good, but what really stood out was the tricolor salad. The mozzarella was so fresh and creamy, and the tomatoes tasted like they were just picked. That kind of ingredient quality makes a difference.

The lamb shank was the star. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell off the bone. The red wine sauce was rich and deep, with a hint of rosemary. It's a generous portion, too. Honestly, I'd come back just for that dish.

Been coming here for years. They always have a solid range of local ales on tap. The team knows their stuff, never mind letting you try a sample before you commit. That's what keeps me coming back.

Had the grilled octopus again since the new owners came in. It’s just as good as last time—super fresh and tender, with that perfect char. Really glad they’ve kept the quality up.
