New owners have really turned this place around. The food&rsquo;s solid and fairly priced, and everyone working here is sound. It&rsquo;s already feeling like a proper local in Henley.

A real find in Oxford. The place has a lovely, cosy vibe. Not too busy, which meant we could just relax and enjoy the meal. The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, fell right off the bone.

The blue cheese burger was a real standout. That patty, cooked just right, had so much flavour. Juicy and messy in the best way. The whole thing just hit the spot.

The staff were amazing as one of our guest cars broke down and we had to delay the order and wait 90 minutes for our guest to arrive.  The chef and all the staff were amazing and delivered super food considering it was 9pm for a 7.30 pm table booking. The restaurant was Christmassy and the waitress went out of her way to be helpful particularly as I have a food allergy.  The ambience was lovely and the food really nice.  All in all a lovely lunch!
