Nice spot for a pint. The underground layout with the glass roof is a cool feature. Had their IPA, which was crisp and well-kept. Table was clean, no sticky residue. A solid choice for a quiet afternoon drink.

Booked ahead for a Friday night and it was packed, so glad we did! The vibe was buzzing but not overwhelming. We tried their signature seafood linguine – the prawns were huge and the sauce had a lovely kick. Portions are generous, left feeling nicely full. A solid spot if you're in the area.

Lovely Sunday lunch. The window table had a beautiful sea view, really made the meal. Food and service were spot on.

Just popped in for lunch. The outdoor seating was perfect today, really nice spot to chill. Food came quick, and the prices are decent for the high street. Solid choice for a casual bite.

Didn't expect the food to be this good. The fish was incredibly fresh, tasted like it just came off the boat. Even with our fussy baby, we had a relaxed evening. Portions were a touch small for the price, but the quality was there.

Been coming here for years, and the lunch special is still my go-to. That soufflé with the cheesy sauce is the reason. It's always spot-on. The fish is cooked perfectly too. Just a solid, reliable meal every time.

Great pub vibe. The red chicken curry was fantastic, and they had a really solid selection of beers to go with it.

The steak and ale pie was the main event. Really good, flaky pastry on top, and the colcannon mash underneath was proper hearty. Just solid pub grub.

Very busy today as there was a coupon offer .Thought the food would be hot as it was busy, but it was mostly just warm although tasty.Staff friendly and cheerful considering how busy it was .Still good value. Also picked up a take out carvery

The full English breakfast is a solid choice here. The eggs were cooked just right, and the coffee was good. The staff were friendly but not overbearing, which made for a relaxed morning. I appreciated not being rushed at all.

The staff were really on it, clearing plates promptly. I asked for a wine suggestion to go with the lamb, and their pick was spot on. Made the whole meal come together nicely.

Friendly staff and decent food selection. Portions are generous for the price.

Spaghetti bolognese was spot on, really good. Huge portion too, couldn't finish it all. Dars was a legend, sorted us out quickly. Just what we needed after a long walk.

The chicken livers starter is the thing here. Properly cooked, still pink inside, with that peri-peri sauce. It's got a real kick, not just heat but flavour. Comes with a decent chunk of bread to mop it all up. Always order it.

The staff were really welcoming to my grandchildren, even though we just had drinks. The mocktails were pretty good and decently priced.

The cinnamon rolls were gone by 11:30. A real shame, as the smell of them baking was the whole reason I walked in. Next time, I'm setting an alarm.

We are here in the second night of our stay , it was a relaxed atmosphere with great food. The staff were attentive and polite.

Solid pub with a good range of ales on tap. The steak and ale pie was the highlight for me – proper flaky pastry and a rich, meaty filling. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

Decent buffet with a good mix of Chinese and English options. Everything was kept hot and the staff were quick to refill the trays. A solid choice for a casual meal, though it did get a bit busy later on.

Been a regular for ages. The food's always solid, no surprises. Service is quick, which I appreciate. But honestly, the portions feel a bit smaller than they used to be for the price. Still, it's reliable.

Been coming here for years. The Sunday roast beef is always spot on, especially with that homemade Yorkshire pudding. It's why I keep coming back.

Nice spot right on the docks. The view of the harbour from the terrace is really lovely.

The pour-over coffee is always spot on. I really liked the CBD green mint tea too, it was a nice, calming find. The whole place just has a really relaxed, quiet vibe that's perfect for a slow morning.

Gluten-free options are solid, they use a separate fryer. The batter came out crisp, no issues. Good to have a reliable choice for dietary needs.

this is a lovely place to dine.... staff are attentive, welcoming and very polite. Food was delicious, special effort made by them for my granddaughter's birthday. Lovely afternoon, frequent this often.

Staff are nice. Got my sandwich and coffee in under 5 minutes today. Perfect for a quick lunch break.

Really enjoyed the Sunday lunch here. The roast chicken was so fresh and tender, you could tell it was quality. Portion was generous too. The side salad had crisp greens, a nice touch. A solid spot if you care about good ingredients.

Fish and chips done right. The batter's light and crispy, and the cod is always fresh. Chips are spot on, never soggy. A proper classic.

The lentil and vegetable soup was the highlight for me. You could really taste the freshness of the vegetables, and the broth was light and clean. The egg sandwich was nice, but the soup is the reason I'd go back. Just a simple, wholesome lunch.

Parking was a bit of a mission on Saturday, but the space itself is lovely. Feels like you're eating in someone's cosy, old house. Nice spot to break up a drive on the A68.
