Lovely welcome, and they made a dish off-menu for my husband without any fuss. The chicken was really good quality, and the sauces were something else. Came to about £60 with drinks.

Lovely breakfast here! The eggs were perfectly runny and the bacon crispy. Staff were super friendly and got it out fast while it was still piping hot. Really hit the spot.

The loaded chips were the star for me – crispy outside, fluffy inside, and that cheese sauce was just right. Latte was smooth too, a really good one. Panini was solid, but those chips stole the show.

Had a great catch-up with friends here. The staff were so fun and friendly, really added to the vibe. Food was lovely, especially the pasta. A bit on the pricier side, but we all had a good time.

The cheesecake was the standout. Rich, dense filling with a buttery, crumbly base that wasn't too sweet. Perfect texture. The rest was fine, but I'd go back just for a slice of that.

Nice spot for a quiet pint. Lyla behind the bar was lovely and quick. Just a heads up, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side for what you get.

They've just redone the place and it looks so good now! Found a cosy corner on the upper level with my mates. Perfect spot for a proper catch-up over a drink. The vibe is just right for that.

The menu had so many pizza and pasta choices, it was a bit hard to decide. The portions are really generous though, which I appreciate. The staff were very patient while we looked through everything.

The Sunday roast was spot on. Beef and lamb were both cooked just right, and the portions are generous.

Such a cosy spot, and they're dog-friendly! 🐶 The cocktails were a real highlight, definitely coming back to try the food.

We came for a family lunch. I really appreciated the chips - they were clearly freshly cut and fried, not the frozen kind. The portion was generous, too. The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but the food quality made up for it.

Been coming here for years. The portions are still generous, and the real ale's decent. It's a solid local spot for a straightforward meal.

The team here really gets it. Asked for a bit more garlic in the pasta and a tweak to the spice level, and it was no issue at all. Paired it with a lovely Barbera that cut through the richness perfectly. Makes for a relaxed evening.

Booked for a weekend lunch, it was packed. The grilled salmon was the highlight for me – really fresh, and the portion of greens alongside was generous. Simple, honest cooking with good ingredients. Just what I was after.

Tried their wine & dine menu last night. The food was gorgeous, especially the lamb. Felt like a proper cosy spot with the fireplace going. Price was decent for what we got. Might pop back.

Been coming here for years, and the Sunday roast is always spot on. The beef is consistently full of flavour, and the portions are generous.

Popped in for the Sunday carvery. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Veg still had a bit of crunch to it, which was nice. The whole plate just looked and tasted proper.

Been coming here for years. The braised steak pie is always spot on, proper gravy and the chips are decent. Menu's got enough choice without being fussy. Staff are quick and know their regulars.

Nice little spot opposite The Chesters. The staff handled our group of eight perfectly. Their wine list had a decent selection that paired well with the food.

The portions here are huge, which I appreciate. The staff were great, really took their time walking us through the menu and explaining the traditional way to eat each dish. I just wish their wine list had a few more local options to pair with such hearty food.

Service here is solid. Staff are quick to respond and genuinely helpful, which makes a difference when you're in a hurry. No complaints on that front.

The potato skins and feta salad were a real highlight. I enjoyed them with a glass of their house red, a nice, simple pairing that worked well. The other courses were solid, though the main was a bit rich for my taste.

The staff here are so lovely! They called to confirm our order timing during Ramadan, which was a really thoughtful touch. Made our group dinner feel extra smooth.

Been coming here for years. Their homemade chips are spot on every time, just how I like them. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and they don't skimp on the portion. A solid choice.

Staff are super friendly here, really makes you feel welcome. Good selection of beers and spirits. Perfect for a quick pint after work.

The pub is in such a beautiful spot, right by the water. It felt really cosy inside, especially with a few dogs around. A nice, quiet pint on a Sunday afternoon.
