Stopped by for a quick dinner. Wine advice was solid and the crispy duck really delivered. Menu's small but that's fine. Prices fair for what you get.

the Supperclub Amsterdam is where it all begins. This is the original location before its expansion to other cosmopolitan cities. The concept is really cool, the dinner performances mesmerizing, service (well, the servers are cute) is good, and the food delicious...just allot at least 4-5 hours for dinner. for us, we started with pre dinner drinks at 6 and left the restaurant probably around 3am that evening....i think...a nap (in their "beds") may have occurred during the long meal service. We had a really fun time.

Fast service even at midnight when it was packed. Staff stayed friendly while dealing with a difficult customer nearby. Food was solid, and they don't skimp on the sauces. Would've liked a better wine option though.

The Guinness was perfect, proper pour. Didn't care much about the place itself, but the food held up fine. Good enough for a casual stop.

The terrace sits right on the canal, and you get a proper view of the old facades while you eat. That alone makes it worth stopping by. I had the apple pie with a gin and tonic — solid combo, nothing fancy. Prices felt fair for Leiden, though the seating is a bit tight if you're there during busy hours. Fine for a casual stop.

The salmon sandwich really is something else—fresh, nicely done, easily the best I’ve had here in the Netherlands. Chef Kristina definitely knows her way around it. Place had a good buzz when I stopped by, staff seemed like they actually enjoyed being there. Only thing, it got a bit busy around noon, but that didn’t take away from the food.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed a glass of their house red — paired nicely with the duck confit. Cozy spot, old-town vibe is really charming. Food’s solid for the price, nothing fancy but done right. Service was friendly enough, though it took a moment to get the bill. Would sit at the window again.

Great coffee and the tosti hit the spot. Cute little village spot with easy free parking nearby. Perfect for a chill catch-up with friends ☕

Came here for the first time last week and honestly the sunset view over the Rhine is the thing. We sat outside, watched the light hit the water, and just didn’t want to leave. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but that setting does a lot of the work. Would go back just for that.

The apple pie with a cappuccino is solid. Weekend mornings get busy though, so don't expect a quiet spot.

Charming outdoor dining, super tasty lunch and a very attentive and hard working waiter. The restaurant also has some inventive vegan and vegetarian options.

Food and wine were solid, but the place is tiny—definitely book ahead. Only two staff so service dragged a bit, though they were friendly. Chocolate dream dessert was the highlight.

Solid pub with a proper British vibe. Good stout selection and the staff were friendly enough. Busy when I popped in but got served quick. Decent spot for a pint.

Stopped by for a quick beer and the bartender was really friendly. Handy spot if you're waiting for the bus across the street.

Stopped by for a beer after walking around the center. Place used to be a butcher shop, still has those old tiles on the wall. Pretty cool vibe. Tried a few local brews, staff knew their stuff and let me sample before picking. Not a huge spot but that's part of the charm.

We sat outside on the barge, which was really lovely. The interior looked nice too, lots of little rooms. I only had a coffee and a pastry, but the service was friendly and we weren't rushed at all. A pleasant spot to just sit and watch people go by. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but fine for a treat.
