Popped in for a Sunday roast. The lamb was spot on, really tender. Came out piping hot with a good pile of veg. Couldn't finish it all.

Just discovered this spot and it's a game-changer for gluten-free dining. Had the GF pasta, which was actually really good - not the usual dry or crumbly kind. Nice to have proper choices.

A proper family-run place, the owner always remembers what I like. Had the lamb shank again last night, slow-cooked for hours, just fell off the bone. That kind of care is hard to find.

The service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience truly enjoyable.

The doner and chips from this truck hit the spot. Meat was nicely seasoned and the chips were crispy, not greasy. Van looked tidy too. Solid choice for a quick bite.

The spicy king prawns with pasta were fantastic, but the portion was a bit small for the price. The sea bass was cooked perfectly though. Not the biggest value for a main course, but the flavours were spot on.

The cookie dough dessert was the star for me. It had that perfect, slightly underbaked texture and just the right amount of chocolate chunks. The steak was good, cooked exactly as I asked.

Stumbled upon this pub and came back three days straight. The ploughman's is huge, easily enough for two. Good value for the portion.

Been coming here for years, and it's still my go-to for a quiet coffee. Love that they keep the live music calendar fresh – always something new to check out. It's just a reliable spot.

Good spot for a bite in town. Prices are fair and you get a decent plate of food.

A really nice spot for a catch-up with friends. I'm not vegetarian, but everything here was so flavourful and fresh. The vibe was relaxed, perfect for a long chat. Just a heads up, it got a bit loud when it filled up!

The staff were so polite and attentive. They noticed I was checking the menu for vegetarian options and patiently explained the ingredients in a few dishes. Really appreciated that extra care. Made the whole meal feel relaxed.

Been coming for years, and the food is always fresh and full of flavour.

Decent portions and tasty food. Service can be a bit slow when they're short-staffed, but it's okay if you're not in a hurry.

The mixed grill was good, the lamb chops in particular. They had a nice wine list that paired well with the spices.

A really clean space, and plenty of seating. I mentioned needing help with my tray because of my walking aid, and the staff were so kind to bring everything over to our table for me.

Aloo tikki and dal makhni were spot on. The tamarind chutney is the real star though.

Nice vibe, music wasn't too loud. Just had a quiet dinner here. The place feels relaxed, good for when you don't want any fuss.

Been coming for years, and the manager always handles our dietary needs so well over the phone. Makes it easy to relax and enjoy.

We've been a few times now. The kids are always happy with the food, and Nikita is really good with them. It's a pretty reliable spot for a family meal.

The downstairs pub area is a nice, sociable spot. I really appreciated that they had some lighter, fresh options on the menu to balance things out. Made for a relaxed evening.

A nice little upstairs spot for cocktails. The old fashioned was pretty good, and the vibe is decent for a catch-up with friends. A bit on the pricey side, but fine for a treat.

Not my usual cuisine, but the server really helped me pick. Went with their suggestion for the butter chicken and it was spot on. Good call.

Been coming here for years. The butter chicken is always spot on, rich and just the right amount of spice. Their curries have that proper depth of flavour you don't always find locally.

Been going here for years. The fish and chips is always spot on, crispy batter and proper chips. Service is friendly without being over the top. It’s just a reliable local spot.

The staff took time to walk us through the menu, which was really nice. Made us feel welcome.

Popped in for a late dinner. The steak was cooked just right, and they have a decent house red that paired nicely with it. Service was quick, almost too quick at times, but the staff were very polite. Nice, clean spot.

The staff were really helpful when I mentioned my dietary restrictions. They took the time to go through the menu and suggest a couple of options that would work for me. It made ordering so much easier and less stressful.

Imran and Aftab were so lovely and attentive. The food was spot on – the lamb biryani was perfectly spiced and the garlic naan was fresh from the tandoor. Really enjoyed the whole vibe here.
