Been coming here for years when I'm in the area. It's a proper pub, always has a good few local ales on tap. The staff are genuinely friendly, makes you feel welcome. Haven't tried the food yet, but the plates coming out of the kitchen always look spot on.

The carvery here is a proper steal. For under a tenner, you get a huge plate. The beef was tender, the roasties were crispy, and the gravy was rich. Can't argue with that.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. I had the grilled salmon, which was lovely. They even surprised me with a birthday drink, which was a nice touch.

The fish and chips were great, and the house lager was a perfect match.

Been a regular for years, always for the good stuff. The lamb curry is still the one to beat. Service is spot on. They've got a decent wine list too, which makes a real difference. A bit on the pricey side, but you know what you're getting.

Bigger inside than it looks, never felt crowded even when busy. The moussaka was spot on, rich and layered. Chicken with lemon potatoes was good, though the potatoes could have been a bit crispier. Solid meal.

The food was fresh and the spices were spot on. The wine list had some nice options that paired well with the flavours.

The vegetable noodles and beef fried rice were good, and the prices are reasonable. The lighting was a bit too bright for my liking though.

Been coming here for Thai food for ages. The halal chicken green curry is my go-to – just the right amount of spice and the chicken is always tender. Portions are huge though, I can never finish a starter and a main!

Great for a casual catch-up with friends. The portions are huge, so you can definitely share a few dishes.

Great Chinese food in Shrewsbury! Perfect for a casual catch-up with mates, and the delivery is always quick.

First time trying their gluten-free menu. The dedicated fryer is a game changer for me - actually got to have crispy fries without worrying. Felt like a normal meal out for once.

Took a minute to find it, Google Maps had it on the wrong side of the street. Ended up being on the left. Had a coffee and a bacon roll. Roll was fresh, bacon cooked just right. Good spot once you're there.

The starter platter is perfect for a quick bite. Gets you a taste of everything without the wait.

Came here for a birthday dinner. The food was fine, atmosphere was nice. But the portions were a bit smaller than I expected for the price. Our waiter Kieran was really good though.

Been coming here for years, always solid for family birthdays. The service is consistently good, never rushed. That’s what keeps me coming back.

The afternoon tea is a steal. So many fresh sandwiches and cakes, honestly enough for two. We barely made a dent in the scones.

Ozzy's is a cosy spot. Their breakfast menu is solid, and I like that it's served all day. The real surprise was the drinks list – found a really nice local ale that went perfectly with the full English. Just a good, reliable place.

As a coeliac, I'm always nervous eating out. Their separate gluten-free menu was a game-changer. I could actually relax and order without the usual interrogation. The pasta was surprisingly good!

The food here is so authentic, you can really taste the layers of flavour. Had their signature lamb stew and the aromas were incredible. Just a really solid spot for a comforting meal.
