_TI***qhGreat value for money at the Cuckoo! The food was lovely, and the staff, including Tabitha and George, were very welcoming and attentive.
TheForkUserHaving been to MemSaab a few times I expected the food, drink, service and surroundings to be excellent and that's exactly what they were. We were I think the last people to leave the restaurant yet there was no sign of impatience from the wonderful staff. Will definitely go again but try to let the staff go home sooner in future!!
_TI***dnIncredible meal at this pub restaurant! The service was perfect, and the food prepared by chef Chris was fabulous. Highly recommend for a great dining experience.
TheForkUserMy husband and I were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The staff member who was looking after us was lovely. She was very pleasant and made sure that we were satisfied with every stage of our meal. The price was very reasonable too. It's cheaper to visit during the week and not so busy. My only concern was the distance to the disabled toilet. But on the whole, a very enjoyable experience
TheForkUserJulia was really welcoming on our arrival and we were able to place our order for drinks. On Julia’s return we were able to order our meals- Simply Chicken with jacket Potatoes. Shortly after Julia came to our table to inform us that jacket potatoes were unavailable and told us of our other options, which we reordered. Our meals arrived short after and we enjoyed our food.. At the time of our visit the restaurant was quiet but did get busier later on, we liked the seating area that we were placed in.
_TI***qsThe Harvester in Loughborough offers a fantastic dining experience with friendly and attentive staff who genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it perfect for a casual meal out.
_TI***kzRed Dog Saloon offers a solid selection of American classics at reasonable prices. The ambiance is lively, making it a perfect place for a casual night out with friends.
TheForkUserNo Mac & Cheese. Different veg to normal. No beef. Due to a 50% off promo that was running - so was very busy and obviously not enough food sadly. However, very good service.
_TI***nuThe Cumin offers an exceptional dining experience with its authentic Indian cuisine. The lamb rogan josh was the best I've ever had, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
TheForkUserBeing a birthday celebration lunch for my elder daughter, I wanted it to be a special occasion. In fact this turned out to be one of the most enjoyable lunches I've recently experianced. First the staff on duty made us very welcome, and the service throughout was faultless. Both my daughter and myself chose from the daily lunch menu, and our choices for the main and dessert were excellent, and what a welcome change to have a real flavoursome main course.. Would definitely return.
TheForkUserExcellent choice of side dishes available and I thought I'd never finish my plateful, but I did because it was all really delicious. I especially like the macaroni cheese. Our waitress was above and beyond efficient and is at a standard to be strived for. I wonder if they're all like her in Runcorn!
TheForkUserCracking little find. Wanted something close to De Montfort Hall and this little gem did not disappoint. Welcomed by friendly and attentive staff, served with really decent quality food in good time and in a tastefully furnished area of the restaurant with a nice ambience. We will certainly be returning in the future.
TheForkUserI have been coming to The Packe Arms for years. The service, food and atmosphere is always top notch. This time I had Beetroot Arancini on a bed of rainbow cousous, classic fish and chips (super fresh, chunky fish and crispy batter) and the mini pud and hot drink combo which is a great idea if you haven't got room for a full sized pudding. The new range of alcohol free drinks are also great. I had elderflower and mint.
TheForkUserExcellent front of house team and a good selection of food that is clearly carefully worked through and cleverly put together. Lots of little extras thrown in for good measure but it is expensive (Michelin star prices) and I’m not sure it quite justifies them yet.
_TI***8sThis Harvester location is a gem! The festive menu was delightful, especially the turkey cooked to perfection. Zoie provided brilliant service throughout our meal.
TheForkUserGreat city centre eatery. Food fantastic and a great price too. Brilliant staff, with a really good knowledge of their menu with great recommendations
_TI***2gI really enjoyed my visit! The staff were attentive, and the food was tasty. The playful cats added to the charm of the place, making it a perfect spot for a fun outing.
TheForkUserWe came yesterday afternoon, and we got a corner seating that was perfect. Peaceful, service great, food good. It was great. Thank you.
TheForkUserA pleasant dining experience. Nice food. Great see or and we could chat to each other. Music nice and not overpowering. Thankyou for a lovely experience!
TheForkUserI’ve just met up with four friends I’d not seen for 45 years - and TWE completely ticked every box - from being welcomed, seated, hot plates and good hot fresh food - it didn’t disappoint and there was no pressure to leave our table. I don’t know when I have ever had really good food that met everyone’s tastes and needs. I can truthfully say that on this occasion the staff, attention, food and ambience was outstanding. I’m also conscious that there are a number of staff behind the scenes and in the kitchen who don’t get praise/tips directly from the customers and trust they will hear this review too.
TheForkUserWe booked a table of 3 adults and a large labradoodle. They made a big fuss of the dog, which he loved, and made us very welcome. The food was great with a huge choice.
TheForkUserFirst time coming to the dining room for afternoon tea. Staff was very welcoming and food was amazing. I would recommend this place.
TheForkUserWe had been to the windhover before but its got even betterwarm welcome has we entered the door we was seated straight away by the window as requested staff was very good & cheerful meals was exerlent nicely presented & hot sweet also just to say have no doubt about returning great value thank you for a great Anniversary dinner
TheForkUserThe staff were very welcoming and professional. Meal was plentiful and well cooked, maybe warm the plates to keep food hot. Knifes need replacing as very blunt to cut meat, although we should have asked for replacements. Nice atmosphere.
TheForkUserWe had a great lunch - the soup starter & roast were absolutely delicious & the staff made us feel at home - a wonderful pub in a beautiful village - will definitely be back!!
_TI***zmI had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and high quality, with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially when it came to modifying the menu for my grandma's needs. Highly recommend for a special occasion!
TheForkUserBrought my mother for a Valentine's Day treat and was very impressed with the quality of both the food and the service. While quite expensive, the food was arguably well worth the price in terms of flavour and presentation, despite delivery being a little slow considering that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The waitresses were all lovely and helpful, with special mention to Melissa and Alice, both of whom went out of their way to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. All in all a wonderfully pleasant experience which I would highly recommend.
