10Riviera by Elio

SeafoodTerrace
abbieforeverRiviera by Elio is the restaurant of Hotel Riviera, located in a beautiful building called Spiezerbucht, at the BLS pier. Hotel Riviera's private pier and private boats are also here and can be booked by guests. As the restaurant is located in a no-parking zone, except for people with mobility problems, vehicles need to be parked in a parking lot not far away, and then walk to the restaurant in 5 minutes. As the winner of the second "Gambero rosso" and "Top Italian Restaurant" award in 2018, Riviera is very famous in the town of Spiez. In addition to authentic Italian food and beautiful lakeside views, dining here can also feel the Italian elegance from the architecture and service. As a lakeside restaurant, the terrace of Riviera is naturally an indispensable place. While enjoying fine wine and food, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Bernese Alps and Lake Thun, which is so pleasant! Since we arrived too late and missed the dinner time, there were not many choices on the late afternoon menu (1:30pm-5:30pm)... In addition to salad, pasta and pizza, there was only Swedish fish. The restaurant charges a moderate price, the pizza and salad taste good, and the salad can be served with French or Italian sauce. If you want to taste seasonal dishes, creative appetizers, more kinds of fish and pasta, special barbecue, etc., you can only wait until dinner time. Except for us who were eating a lot, the rest of the guests were leisurely sipping wine and spending the afternoon...

帝都的秋天Everyone describes the beauty of Switzerland with these words: lakes and mountains, snow all year round, paradise on earth, tourist destination! Not only that, the beauty of Switzerland is so detailed that it can be seen on every wall you pass by inadvertently. Switzerland is a federal country, first established in 1291. The Alps blocked the warm current from the south, resulting in snow all year round in Switzerland. Switzerland used to be a must-go for pilgrimages for believers, and people had to rest and replenish supplies in the post stations in the mountains... Slowly as time went by, the accommodation industry in the mountains developed rapidly. This is why the management of any high-end hotel chain in the world now graduated from the Swiss Lausanne Tourism Institute! There are a total of 4 languages in Switzerland, one is the official language, and there are French, German and Italian. In order to better communicate with the outside world, English has become a major language of communication. More than 95% of people in Switzerland generally speak English. In Switzerland, Germans who don't want to be Germans, French who don't want to be French, and Italians who don't want to be Italians make up this country called Switzerland. Switzerland is named after the largest confederation of Switzerland. Its capital city, Bern, is the most low-key and quiet capital in the world. In order to maintain a quiet and undisturbed life, the capital has not built an airport so far. Bern is not big, but it is a veritable ancient city with a history of more than 800 years, which is more than 100 years earlier than the establishment of the Swiss Confederation. Bern is also listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

_GG***17We stumbled upon Brasserie St.Georges in Interlaken, and boy, are we glad we did! We'd originally made reservations at a traditional Swiss place across the street, but honestly, we couldn't face another meal of fondue and potatoes. This place turned out to be exactly what we needed.Located in one of the nicest hotels in the area, Brasserie St.Georges offers a mix of Italian, French, and Swiss food. The restaurant itself has a great vibe - fancy enough for a nice dinner out, but still comfortable for a family meal.I went for the burger, and it was spot-on. Thick, juicy, and cooked just right - exactly what I was craving. My wife tried the Chicken Cordon Bleu, which was a hit. Instead of the usual ham, it had beef inside along with the melted cheese, all wrapped up in crispy breading. A nice twist on a classic. The real winner for us was the kids' menu. Our daughter got the chicken tenders and loved them. It's not always easy to find good options for kids in Interlaken, so this was a big plus. What really stood out was the service. In a country known for good hospitality, these folks still managed to impress us. They were attentive without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely happy to help. The hotel that houses the restaurant is pretty impressive too - it's one of those beautiful, historic buildings you see all over Switzerland. It definitely added to the overall experience. If you're in Interlaken and looking for a break from traditional Swiss fare, or just want a really good meal, Brasserie St.Georges is the place to go. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, food-wise. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

M18***31🏨Hotel Villa Honegg 📍Engelberg, Switzerland . A one-way road winds up from the turquoise Lake Lucerne to the Honegg Villa Hotel, more than 3,000 feet above sea level. Here, greenery, mountains and lakes are all the same color, and the dense forests🌲 and flower-filled meadows are occasionally accompanied by the ethereal sound of cowbells. Even just breathing is a pleasure. . The outdoor infinity pool sits on the hillside below the stone facade of the spa, reflecting the lake below, the sky above and the surrounding mountains⛰️. Whether it's raining, snowing or sunny, the pool is kept at a constant temperature of 34°C. Even in winter, when the snow-capped peaks and lakes blow in the breeze, there is no need to worry about missing this beautiful view. . The 23 rooms range in size from 24 square meters to 91 square meters. The rooms face Lake Lucerne or the Bürgenstock Mountain. Some rooms also have a 180-degree balcony, where you can gaze at the fairyland-like mountains and waters day and night. The large bathtub 🛁 is right under the windowsill. When you open the window while taking a bath, you will be speechless with beauty. . Breakfast is served until 2 pm. 携程旅行定制师李全菊🍴【Swiss History on the Tip of Your Tongue】 Push open the wooden door of Schützenstrasse 1, and you will feel like you have stepped into a time tunnel in 1856. This restaurant, guarded by four generations of the Galliker family, uses 160 years of furnace fire to refine the most authentic Swiss flavor. From the carved beams on the ceiling to the copper beer cups on the wall, every corner is filled with ancient stories. Remember to look up! The mural on the second floor hides a secret map of the old town of Lucerne~ 🔥【The Treasure of the Town】 ✅ **Chögelipastetli**: At the moment when the puff pastry crater erupts, the mushroom cream sauce wrapped with tender veal explodes on the tip of your tongue! This "national dish" of Lucerne uses 23 layers of handmade puff pastry to lock in the essence of 12 hours of slow cooking, and even "Gault&Millau" has stamped and certified it as a "taste miracle". ✅ **Zurich Veal**: Vinegar and cream dance in a cast iron pot, paired with homemade mashed potatoes, with just the right balance of sweet and sour. Whispering, this is the same one John Travolta ordered in 1981! ✅ **Pot-au-Feu**: French beef stew limited to Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays, oxtail bones make amber broth, and the side dishes hide a surprise - pickled onions are sweet to the heart! 💡【Locals' Secret Eating Method】 **Beer Blind Box**: Tell the waiter your mood when ordering, they will randomly select one from 20+ Swiss craft beers. The "Lucerne Mist" I drew is elderflower IPA, which is amazing! **Dessert Easter Egg**: Apple pie with vanilla ice cream should be poured with hot honey, and the crispy pie crust is dipped in caramel sauce, which makes you feel happy! **Hidden Menu**: Friday’s Larded Roast Beef, beef tenderloin wrapped in pig fat, the moment you cut it open, the fat smells delicious! 📸【Photography Camera】 - First floor bar: The evening sun shines through the stained glass window, casting rainbow spots on the wooden wine cabinet - Second floor terrace: Open in summer, take a photo of your back while dining against the old city wall, pretending to be in a medieval oil painting - Next to the cashier: A century-old antique coffee grinder, remember to use a macro lens to take details 🚶♀️【Nearby Tour Guide】 After eating, walk 3 minutes to the Capel Bridge to watch the sunset, and check in along the way: - **Musegg Wall**: One of the best-preserved fortifications in Europe, climb up the ancient tower and overlook the red tile roofs - **Swan Square**: The window design is super dreamy - **Glacier Park**: A 40 million-year-old glacial wonder, tickets include a chocolate workshop experience ⏰【Practical Tips】 ▫️ **Business hours**: Tuesday to Saturday 11:15-2:30/18:00-0:30, closed on Mondays and Sundays (Specific time is subject to the actual opening time of the local area) ▫️ **Per capita consumption**: 40-80 Swiss francs (about 300-600 yuan), it is recommended to order a set meal for better value ▫️ **Reservation method**: Make an appointment by phone 3 days in advance, and you may have to wait for 2 weeks in peak season ▫️ **Transportation**: Take bus 2/9/12 to Schützenplatz station, walk for 1 minute ▫️ **Dressing suggestion**: Wear a retro dress, which is super suitable for the carved mirror wall of the restaurant! 🍷When we were full of wine and food, the cruise ship on the Reuss River passed slowly outside the window. Suddenly I understood why the Swiss always say: "Happiness is to have a dinner at Wirtshaus Galliker." There is no Michelin coldness here, only warmth and sincerity like the kitchen of my grandmother's house.
