We grabbed a table for four and went straight for the raclette. They scrape it right at your table onto the potatoes with pickles and onions, which is exactly what I wanted. Cheese was really good, and the little salad bar was a nice extra. Place got a bit loud later, but honestly we were too busy eating to care 😄

Stopped by for a quick drink on the terrace. Great view towards Engstligenalp, drinks came fast. Interior looked cozy too. Solid spot for a short break.

The food at the Mandarine was excellent. The location gives it the feel of a local restaurant rather than one for tourists and the prices reflect this too, as it was by far the best value meal we&rsquo;ve have in Switzerland, but without any compromise on quality.
