Great for families, inexpensive and servings to satisfy the biggest eaters. The owner actively involved with every guest party. A French proprietor fascinated by Italian cuisine. TheForkUserVery slow service. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water at the beginning of lunch, they brought it to us when we had already asked for the check. Some orders had to be repeated 3-5 times; you got the feeling that the staff was simply not listening to you. The child's ice cream stood ready on the kitchen counter for more than 10 minutes (we sat nearby and saw that the chef had already prepared desserts, and the waiters walked by many times and did not take them to the customers). The chef even had to renew the whipped cream on the desserts.La Closerie

TheForkUserApart from the problem of finding a taxi from the centre of Carcassonne to get to the place everything there after was more than we’d hoped for. On arrival we were met by a warm and friendly lady got the evening going by guiding us down to the restaurant and the waiting staff who led us through the evening with great skill but friendliness as well. The food and drink were so far beyond what I was expecting that I’m not sure how we can go any better. 10/10 doesn’t do the place justiceLa plancha des halles

One couple walked away when told they couldn't have a table. It's a real pity as the food was good in very generous portions and all the staff were very welcoming.
