TheForkUserExcellent friendly service and amazing authentic food. If only lived closer by. We would be regulars if we did! The green papaya salad was spicy abd sweet and sour. Perfectly balanced. The Tom yam soup exquisite.
TheForkUserThe order: 1 Bao, 1 Crêpe Manioc, 1 Crêpe Bouef as starters, followed by 1 Pâtes Nouilles Canard and 1 Pâtes Nouilles Bouef, with one small coffee and a (very) small bottle of mineral water. Total price was 52 euros for 2 people, at lunch, on a Saturday. The verdict: The portion sizes were acceptable, and the starters were served warm (rather than hot). The noodle dishes were nothing more than noodles, a few pieces of meat and a soy-based sauce. I found them over-priced for what they were, but the taste was acceptable.
TheForkUserGood experience here. Had some sort of of a fish cake as an appetizer and duck for dinner. Pretty good. Waitress spoke english and was attentive. Would come back next time on Montpellier.
TheForkUserWe had a great dinner at Sicilia. The menu has lots of choices. The pizzas and veal with truffle sauce and mushrooms were so good! Prices very reasonable as well.
TheForkUserGreat experience! We will return!
_TI***juWith excellent value for money and a great selection of home-cooked dishes, this restaurant is a hidden gem worth discovering.
TheForkUserLovely meal with fresh high quality ingredients. Service was a wee bit slow but the staff was working hard and wonderfully welcoming. I'd eat here again in a heartbeat.
_TI***h0I had a wonderful evening with generous portions and delicious flavors. The tasting menu was perfectly balanced, and the elegant decor enhanced the experience.
TheForkUserGreat food and lovely service- place was empty but was outside usual holiday season and is slightly outside the main town centre . We had starters and main course and wine by the glass - all very good
TheForkUserThe food was amazing. Very romantic with some good tropical music vibes. Everything I ate was very well marinated, full of flavors. Dish of the day entree was delicious ????
TheForkUserWe arrived a little early for our 20:00 table and had a cocktail. The dining room was partly full but a separate party was outside. After being seated we waited for 15 minutes to get a menu. After another 15 minutes we had only received some water and while looking around saw that hardly anyone but the outside party had been served food. As we had a table that could see into the kitchen, you could tell that it was pandemonium. As no one came to take our order and dinner was unlikely to ever arrive in our lifetime, after 30+ minutes we left.
TheForkUserWe ate 3 times at this restaurant while staying at the Chateau de Palaja beside it. Fabulous food and lovely ambience on each occasion.
TheForkUserWe were a group of 9 people with 5 children and they’ve organized a beautiful table with some privacy that helped a lot not being stressed with bothering anyone else. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, small little touches that made it an exquisite experience.
TheForkUserother than the unbearable heat, everything was lovely about our meal-- the food, the service and the champagne. Could not have been better unless they can figure out how to install a/c outside but that is not in their control. Would definitely return!
TheForkUserWe always go to O’Soleil when we’re in the Languedoc. The food’s great, service quick and efficient, lovely setting on the quayside at Marseillan. You need to book esp if for Sunday lunch as it’s always busy! Good menu - always go for the seafood as this is what they do best.
TheForkUserThe service team were amazing. The care they show serving the amazing food prepared by the kitchen is really lovely. You feel it is a wonderful team effort to provide a great experience for the diners.
TheForkUserNice small restaurant at a nice location! Good service. We’ll come again. It was very quiet at our time which was very nice. Not too much rush. I can recommend the 3 dishes course.
TheForkUserWe had a fabulous time in this beautifully romantic setting. The staff were warm and very welcoming, food and service was outstanding, and we had a great conversation about France with Monsieur Matthias (hotel boss) and a lovely gentleman. Overall, it was a wholesome experience, and I would definitely recommend.
TheForkUserWhen I first arrived, I thought I’d booked a dance lesson!. This restaurant was like a breath of fresh air, very tired from traveling this was a boost. Food was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Next time I’m the area I’ll be going back!!!!
TheForkUserToo much curry on all plates as decoration??
TheForkUserRespectably good food. We ordered the lamb chops and duck breast, both came with french fries. Both the lamb and duck were cooked medium rare, which tasted fine but our dinner knives were blunt, couldn't really cut through the pink meat. Fries were tasty but a little soft and soggy. Also ordered a half carafe of red wine, very good. Server was a little stressed at the beginning, very busy, but then he became more relaxed and we chatted with him. We sat outside, warm evening, very lovely, but we're not used to being surrounded by smokers on all sides.
