Lovely decor and a nice atmosphere. The cocktails were really good, I had a lovely time. The only thing was the seating, the chairs were a bit too low for the tables, made it a little awkward to eat comfortably.

Had a lovely family gathering with excellent food and a cozy atmosphere. Charlie was fantastic in accommodating our group!

Came in for a quick bite. The food was really good, no complaints there. Staff were nice, and the manager even came over to say hello. But honestly, for what you get, the prices felt a bit steep. Portions are decent, just expected a little more for the money.

The speakeasy vibe is cool, you go in through a vending machine. The space inside is small and cozy, good for a quiet chat. Drinks were solid, nothing mind-blowing but well-made. A bit on the pricey side for the area.

No. 12 of Bars in Manchester

The rump steak rare was a real surprise. Meat quality and flavour were spot on, sauce was good, chips decent. For the price point, it delivered. Would order again.

The fish and chips were pretty good, with a decent crispy batter. The beer garden out back is a nice spot.

Decent pub grub for the price. The steak and ale pie was hearty, gravy was spot on. Had to wait a bit for a table on a Friday night, so yeah, booking is a must.

Food was spot on, but we had to wait a bit for a table inside. The wine list was decent though, found a nice Pinot that went perfectly with the steak. Maybe book ahead on weekends.

The anniversary card with the drink vouchers was such a lovely touch. It felt genuinely thoughtful. The brownies and schnapps after dinner were a warm, cosy finish. The staff really did make the evening.

The Kwak beer in its proper glass is a treat, but it's a bit pricey. The shoe deposit thing is quirky! The hummus platter was solid. You're paying for the branded glassware and the experience, I suppose.

The new menu is solid. Food quality is noticeably better than before, service was efficient. Good for a business dinner.

Spacious spot with big screens, perfect for watching the game. The house lager was a solid, easy-drinking choice to go with it.

The margarita here is a standout. Really good balance of tequila and lime, not too sweet. Just a solid, classic version done right. One of the better ones I've had around Chester.

Hired Jo for a garden party. The bar setup was the highlight – really well thought out with nice little details. Jo was lovely to deal with. It all came together nicely.

The beer garden is such a vibe on a sunny day! Perfect spot for catching up with mates. We had a pizza and a pint for a tenner, which is a steal. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but still a good time.

The full English was spot on! The bacon was crispy, the eggs runny just how I like it. The gentleman serving us was so lovely and chatty, made our little catch-up feel extra relaxed. A really nice vibe for a lazy weekend brunch with friends.

Tried their festive menu last week. The Christmas specials were really well done, chef clearly knows his stuff. Portions were decent for the price. Bit of a wait for the main course though.

Lovely pub, and the beer garden is a real gem on a sunny day. The atmosphere is always lively, which is nice. Just a heads up, it can get quite crowded, so maybe aim for an off-peak time if you prefer a quieter spot.

Axe throwing with Chloe as our host. She was patient, explained the technique well. The package included cocktails and food, which were decent and fairly priced. Good for a team event.

Booked their function room for a family do. It's a really nice, bright space and having the private bar and garden bit was a total bonus. Everything just ran without a hitch, which was exactly what we needed.

Arthur's Suite was perfect for a quick birthday stay. Room was spotless and spacious. Bar food was tasty and fairly priced.

The private function room was perfect for our family Christmas meal. Staff were really welcoming.

The cocktails are really something special. I've tried a few, and they're definitely among the best I've had. The whole place has such a friendly, relaxed vibe, which is just what you want for a casual evening out.

A proper old-school pub, and the atmosphere is lively but not chaotic. Great for starting or ending a night out in Liverpool.

Been coming here for years for the Sunday roast. The beef is always cooked just right, not dry at all. Comes with all the usual bits - Yorkshire pudding, roasties, the lot. Good portion for the price. It's my regular spot.

The old wooden beams and low lighting gave it such a cosy, lived-in feel. Perfect for a quiet chat with a friend over a dram. Felt like stepping back in time for a few hours.

Nice traditional pub, very cosy inside. The beer garden is a real bonus, especially on a sunny day. Had a pint there after a long walk, it was just what I needed. The staff were friendly and the whole place has a relaxed feel.
