Decent neighbourhood spot. Prices are fair, you get a good portion for what you pay. I had the fish and chips, the portion was generous. It's a solid choice for a casual meal without breaking the bank.

We pop in for coffee before our morning walks. It’s a nice little routine. The flat white is consistently smooth, and the staff remember our usual order. The place is always tidy, which I appreciate. Just a relaxed spot to start the day.

The crinkle fries here are honestly some of the best. Perfectly seasoned and crispy. The Hot Chick burger was solid, lots of toppings. The whole vibe of the place is just really relaxed and easygoing, which I liked.

Lovely little family-run spot. They handled our group of 10 with no fuss at all, which was a relief. Even had a water bowl out for our big dog. A proper independent find.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local spot, always busy. Nice to see they're dog-friendly too. Had a coffee and a croissant the other morning – decent, simple stuff. Good for a quick stop.

Been coming here for years. Their breakfast baps are consistently good, you can really taste the quality in the sausages.

Stumbled upon this bakery in the city centre. Got one of their meat-filled puff pastries. It was huge and pretty good for the price. Just a solid, no-fuss snack.

Just popped in for a traditional afternoon tea. The vibe totally took me back in time, like stepping onto a period drama set! ☕️ The scones were warm, clotted cream was spot on. A lovely, quiet spot to unwind.

Late breakfast turned into a roast. Beef casserole was hot, gravy was good. Solid portion for the price. Quick service for a weekend.

The gluten-free menu here is huge, and they actually took cross-contamination seriously. My server double-checked everything, which is so rare. Felt safe ordering for once.

Came for coffee and cake with a friend. The slice of chocolate cake was huge, easily enough for two to share. Coffee was good too. We sat for ages and didn't feel rushed at all, which was nice.

Love these classic backstreet cafes. No frills, just good, honest food. The tea and coffee are straightforward, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s the kind of simple, unpretentious spot that feels like a proper local find.

The staff were really friendly, even though it was packed. Food came out quick and hot, which I always appreciate. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and the chips were proper.

The coffee was spot on, and they had a decent selection of single-origin beans to choose from. Nice, relaxed spot.

The staff here are so lovely and friendly! They remembered my usual order and were really chatty, which made catching up with my friend feel extra nice. Good coffee and the pastries are always fresh. A great spot for a relaxed chat.

Grabbed a takeaway breakfast here. The staff were so friendly, it put me in a good mood for the whole morning. The coffee was really good too.

Great place for a preconcert meal. Smallish tapas style plates or larger meals. Happy hour on cocktails and oysters before 6pm. There should have been more customers when I went. Stripped back decor. Good service. You can watch the team prepare your food and ask questions. Will be back.

Been coming here for years, and the drinks menu keeps me coming back. They've always got something interesting on tap – their kombucha is my go-to, but I'll try a fresh juice if I'm feeling adventurous. It's just a nice, reliable spot for something different than the usual coffee shop.

Onsen Tamago was the standout. Runny yolk, creamy texture. Sweetcorn fritters decent. Coffee fine. Staff were pleasant. That's it.

A clean, tidy spot. Food came out hot, which was nice. Service was good. Their house red was a pleasant surprise with the hot food - a solid choice for a quick bite away from the usual bar scene.

Been coming here for years, and the portion sizes are always spot on. You get a proper, generous donut, not those tiny things from the chains. It's the main reason I keep coming back.

A solid spot for getting some work done. The quiet vibe and reliable WiFi are a plus, and having power outlets handy is a real win.

Had a nice meal here. The service was friendly and efficient, which made for a pleasant visit. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, though the music was a touch loud for my taste. A solid spot for a casual dinner.

Love this little spot for a catch-up with friends. The staff are so lovely and chatty, makes you feel right at home. Full English for £5.50 in the city centre is a proper steal. It can get a bit busy on weekends though!

Lovely little spot for a first visit. The staff were so friendly, took time to explain the specials. I had the mushroom toast—simple but the flavours were spot on. A nice, relaxed vibe for a solo lunch.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb shank is the reason. It’s always just tender, simple, lets the meat speak for itself. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Popped in for a quick Sunday lunch. Service was impressively fast, got my order in minutes. The menu's huge, which is handy. Desserts looked tempting, but I was in and out. Solid spot for a quick bite.
