Love that they're so welcoming to our pup. The owner came out with a little treat for him, which was such a nice touch. It just feels like a cosy, happy spot because of that.

The carrot cake was lovely, and they had a decent house red that went well with it. Nice to see a dog-friendly spot that's not a chain.

Gets packed at peak times, so snagging a table can be a bit of a gamble. Service felt a touch slower when it was heaving, but the food came out just fine.

Lovely little family-run place! The staff are so genuine, really makes a difference when you're catching up with friends. Food was tasty, everything felt fresh. Just a heads up - it's cash only, so come prepared. We had a nice, relaxed evening.

Maggie was so helpful when we were deciding what to order. She took the time to explain the specials and even checked with the kitchen about an ingredient. Really made a difference.

A decent spot for a quick bite. The coffee was fine, and the pastries were pretty good. Two hot drinks and two pastries came to just under a tenner, which is a solid deal these days.

I'm a regular for lunch and love that the salads are always fresh. The weekly menu changes keep things interesting – I never get bored.

Came for a sweet brunch. Ordered the Matilda pancakes and the fresh berry French toast. Portions were decent, not huge but enough for two to share comfortably. The pancakes were fluffy and the French toast had a nice crisp. Felt like a fair price for what you get.

Service was on point even when they were packed. My American breakfast was just the right size and tasted really good. Great spot for a chill catch-up with friends.

The margarita here is a standout. Really good balance of tequila and lime, not too sweet. Just a solid, classic version done right. One of the better ones I've had around Chester.

The beer garden is such a vibe on a sunny day! Perfect spot for catching up with mates. We had a pizza and a pint for a tenner, which is a steal. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but still a good time.

The crème brûlée pancakes were pretty good. The custard had a nice texture and the caramelised top was a pleasant crunch.

Popped in for a quick coffee. The Allpress brew is always spot on, really smooth. Staff are friendly and had a nice chat. Makes for a good little stop.

The pink decor is nice and the chairs are comfortable. Had a decent grilled cheese and a pretty good iced coffee. Staff were friendly. Music was a bit loud for my taste, but it was a fine spot for a quick lunch.

The scrambled eggs here are spot on. Cooked fresh, served hot, not too dry. That's the main thing for a quick breakfast. The coffee is decent too, a good strong cup. It's just a solid, straightforward plate.

The owner's a lovely bloke, really makes you feel at home. Proper full English breakfast, just like you'd want.

Been grabbing lunch here a few times now. Food's solid, comes out quick which is key for me. Staff are friendly too. Found my regular spot.

Bottomless brunch here is decent. Plenty of cocktail choices to keep things interesting. They're pretty quick on the refills too - my glass was never empty for long. Good for a lazy Sunday.

Love the build-your-own wrap option. Got a chicken caesar with extra bacon and swapped the usual dressing for a lighter one, no fuss at all. Portions are generous for the price, definitely felt like a proper lunch.

Been coming here for years. The ham and cheese toastie is always spot on, exactly how I remember it. That consistency keeps me coming back. The milkshake is a nice touch too.

Found this place in the town centre. The team were so attentive, really went the extra mile. My main was cooked just right and looked lovely on the plate. A nice spot for a relaxed meal.

Decent quick lunch spot. Got the set meal with a drink, hot chocolate was a solid choice. Cat decor is cute. Food came out fast, which is what I needed.

Such a cool spot tucked inside the cathedral! The space feels really light and clean. It was perfect for a quick lunch after getting off the train.

Really nice pub. The staff are so friendly, and they even brought water and biscuits for our dog. 🐶

Nice place to grab a coffee before my flight. The seats near the power outlets are a real plus, made it easy to settle in and not worry about my phone. Coffee was fine for the price you'd expect here.

Lactose-free options are a lifesaver for me. Ordered the pasta and it didn't skimp on flavour. The menu is pretty standard, but you know what you're getting. Solid choice when you need a safe bet.

The flat white here is a standout. The latte art held all the way down, which you don't see often. Coffee had a nice, smooth finish. A solid spot for a proper brew.
