Impeccable food (Sunday lunch) and service in a slightly out-of-the-way spot that&rsquo;s absolutely worth the short trip from the centre of Bath.

Been grabbing lunch here for years. The Chapo burger is my go-to. Just the right amount of spice, and it&#39;s always ready fast. Perfect for a quick bite. Wings are solid too.

Nice traditional pub downstairs, but the upstairs dining area is much quieter. Their house red went really well with the steak I had.

Had a lovely stay here. The room was comfortable and well set up. The staff were really friendly and helpful, made everything feel easy. The village looked beautiful in the autumn. Enjoyed the food, it was tasty and well-prepared. A nice, relaxing break.

Popped in for some picnic bits. The deli counter is packed with Italian cheeses and cured meats, shelves are crammed with goodies. Got some focaccia, olives, and a lovely salami. Perfect for a sunny day in the park.

Portions are huge for what you pay, really good value. We got the grilled chicken plate and couldn&#39;t finish it. Had to take some to go. Only thing is there&#39;s hardly any seats inside, so we ate on a bench outside.

The spaghetti bolognese was a decent portion for the price. It&#39;s a simple dish, but they didn&#39;t skimp on the sauce. Found the place up those market steps after a bit of looking around.

Victor was such a fun server, really made the night. He suggested the truffle pasta and it was a total winner. Just a great, easy vibe with him.

Grabbed a takeaway tikka masala for a quick lunch. The sauce was rich and flavourful, really hit the spot. Owners are super friendly too. Good for a fast, tasty bite.

Lovely little spot. The pizza was great, Mare e Monti was spot on. The real standout for me was the atmosphere though - really cosy and relaxed, perfect for a casual meal. I&#39;ll be back to try the seafood.

Hosted a birthday for 18 here. The staff handled our lively bunch so well. Everything arrived together, which was a relief. Food was really good, just a bit pricey for the portions.

The gyro wrap was the standout. The meat was properly seasoned and the tzatziki had a nice tang to it. Ended up taking a piece of baklava to go because it looked too good to pass up, even though I was stuffed.

The vegan curry was lovely and such good value. The seating inside the hall was really comfortable, which made for a very relaxed lunch.

The food is consistently pretty good, with authentic flavours. Menu has decent variety.

The salt and pepper squid was the star. The coating was crisp, not greasy, and the seasoning was spot on. The squid itself was tender. That&#39;s what I came for.

The Sunday lunch pizza was spot on, thin crust with a good char. Cypress salad had fresh, crisp greens. That tiramisu though... dangerously good, almost too much! Service was just right, left us to it.

Food was spot on, just as ordered. Waitress was lovely, service was a bit slow but it was packed.

The weekday set menu is such a good deal. Came here with a few mates and we all got it. The smoked trout starter was lovely, and the cauliflower soup with ginger was so warming. Perfect for a chilled catch-up.
