Food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were courteous and accommodating. We were a party of 4 with big appetites, and our servers couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a great time, and the price was very palatable, too. Many thanks to everyone who looked after us; they were delightful - we’ll be back!

The tapas were all pretty good, each with its own distinct flavour. The vegetarian options were decent too. Portions are on the smaller side, but that's fine for sharing.

Loudons is one of the best places for brunch. There’s a big variety for breakfast/brunch and some interesting options for lunch. The kitchen closes at 3pm (15:00) so you won’t be able to order anything more than drinks or cake, if you’re lucky and there’s any left.English muffins, pancakes and french toast and hands down the best things on the menu. The menu has vegetarian/vegan options as well. The staff is always very friendly and nice, which is always appreciated.

The steak tartare was so fresh, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. A lovely, clean dish.

If I lived in Old Town, I'd be a regular. Just had the Scottish Full Breakfast with a cappuccino. Spot on. Staff were quick and friendly, no fuss. Exactly what you want in the morning.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was so light and crispy, didn't overpower the fish at all. Their homemade tartare sauce really made it. Just a solid, classic plate.

Always packed, so you know it's good. Their breakfast plates are solid and won't break the bank.

Andrii provided attentive service throughout our business lunch. The set menu offered solid value for money. Food was well-prepared and arrived promptly. A reliable spot for a working meal.

Loved the Turkish eggs and portobello smash here, both were so fresh and flavourful. The menu's got a good range, which is great when you're with a group and someone's gluten-free. Made picking a spot for brunch easy!

Came here for an early breakfast. The scrambled eggs were really good, nice and fluffy on decent toast. Coffee was fine too. It's a quiet, snug little spot. A solid choice for a simple morning meal.

A decent spot with a solid selection of drinks. The staff were friendly and the prices are pretty good for the area.

The staff were really patient helping us decide what to order. The kids' menu had loads of options too.

Love how they treat dogs here! The staff gave my pup water and a treat without me even asking. Such a nice touch when you're out with friends and the dog tags along. Made our casual lunch feel really relaxed.

The breakfast was fresh and beautifully presented. A nice glass of orange juice really set it off. A highlight of our Edinburgh trip.

Just a simple, honest cafe. The breakfast was spot on - felt like a proper home-cooked meal, left me full but not stuffed. Staff were nice, prices fair. Exactly what I needed.

Finally found a proper tablet in Edinburgh! The owner was so lovely, made the whole visit feel warm. Price was very reasonable too, which was a nice surprise.

Nice place for a quick pint when you're out shopping. The beer's reasonably priced and the service is quick.

The delivery was a nice surprise, much quicker than expected. The food was still warm and tasted fresh, which I really appreciate. The vegetables in my salad were crisp and vibrant. A solid choice for a healthy, convenient meal at home.

Stopped in after a morning ride. Bike parking right outside was a plus. Had the avocado toast and a flat white. Quick service, decent portion. Good spot to refuel.

A nice spot for families. The kids' platter was a big hit with ours, and the staff were friendly and efficient even on a busy Saturday. It's good to find a place that's so welcoming to dogs, too.

Lunch here was efficient. The bean curd family style had good spice level as asked. Menu is extensive, which is useful. Complimentary crackers were appreciated. Solid option for a business meal in the area.

The coffee was strong, which I liked. But I really came for the peanut butter slice. You can tell it's homemade, not too sweet. The texture was just right. A nice treat with my morning coffee.

Been coming here for years for a quiet breakfast. The coffee's always spot on, a proper strong brew. That's what keeps me coming back. The space is nice and calm, good for reading the paper.

Good Mexican option in Edinburgh. The homemade chips and dips are a definite plus. Service is consistently attentive.

The weekday lunch menu is a proper steal. Grabbed the set before 4pm and honestly, for central London, the quality you get for that price is hard to beat. Just a solid, no-fuss meal.

Been coming here for years, and the coffee is always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back. The space is nice and the art is cool, but honestly, I'm just here for a reliably good flat white. It's my go-to spot when I need to just sit and think for a bit.
