Lovely local pub, really felt like the heart of the village. We sat inside with our dog, which was a nice touch. The food was simple but good, just what you want for a pub lunch.

A solid chippy. The loaded fries and chilli cheese bites were pretty good. Had a decent pint in the garden while waiting &ndash; food was ready quickly. The atmosphere seemed nice, might eat in next time.

Popped in with a couple of friends and we all loved the vibe. The chocolate brownie was delicious, but serving it warm would have been the cherry on top. Still, a really nice spot for a casual catch-up.

The T-bone with garlic butter was fantastic, let the chef decide the cook. My only note is on the portion for the price. It&#39;s a decent steak, but for what they charge, I&#39;d expect a bit more on the plate.

Ordered a real cheat lunch with waffles, bacon and chicken it&rsquo;s was delicious, the waffle was hard, so asked the server Nikki and within 5 mins they had replaced it with a fresh hot one :) yummy

Pizza was fresh and hot, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.
