Loved the grilled langoustines and dorado here. The fish was so fresh, you could really taste it. The langoustines were perfectly cooked, not overdone at all. A bit tricky with no English menu, but the staff was patient. A good spot for simple, fresh seafood.

Right by the water in Port de la Selva, just as you'd expect. The view of the bay is lovely. We sat outside and it felt like a proper classic spot.

Nice spot for a quiet catch-up with friends. The background music was just right, not too loud so we could actually hear each other talk!

The chef's passion really comes through in the dishes. A nice, unpretentious wine list that complements the food perfectly.

It's inside a Spar, so you can park easily. I grabbed the grilled fish to take away. Ate it on the beach as the sun was setting. Simple, but that made it feel just right.

Loved the spot by the harbor in Cadaqués, the water was so clear and blue. We had the grilled fish, simple but really fresh. A nice, relaxed lunch watching the boats.

Been coming here for years. Manu’s still the heart of it, cooking and serving solo. That consistency is what keeps me coming back. You know exactly what you’re getting.

Solid wine, decent food. A bit on the pricier side. Our waitress was a powerhouse, constantly on the move, never a still moment. She handled the whole section by herself.

They’ve redone the place and it feels really nice now. I like how quiet it is inside, and the outdoor tables are a good option too. Just a calm spot for a meal.

The outdoor seating area is quite pleasant. Had a decent lunch there, the burger was pretty good. Inside got a bit loud later on, but overall a fine spot.

They had a water bowl ready for our dog right away. It's the little things like that when you're traveling.

Booked for Bastille Day. The cassoulet was hearty, just the right amount of rich. Service was a bit slow later in the evening, but they were clearly busy. Still, a solid meal for the price.

Service was so on point! Our waiter was super friendly and knew the menu inside out. He helped us pick the tuna tataki and the lobster risotto, both were spot on. Made the whole dinner with my friends feel relaxed and easy.

Wood-fired pizza, the crust is thin and crispy. Had a glass of the house red with it, a simple Sangiovese that actually worked quite well. The wine cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice for a casual bite.

The food was very good. Ava was our server, and she was so friendly and attentive. She was also training a new colleague, which she handled so smoothly. It made for a very relaxed and comfortable lunch.

The smoothies and salads are actually good, not just for show! Perfect for a chill afternoon with friends by the water.

The pizza was fantastic, truly handmade with great ingredients. I really appreciated the comfortable seating and the servers were so friendly. Made for a very relaxed dinner.

Reminded us of our student days but with better food! We will take friends.

The fish was so fresh, tasted like it just came off the boat. Seasoning was spot on, not overpowering at all. Had a glass of their house white with it, a perfect match.

The salmon was just right, not dry. Their homemade ice cream is the real star though. Peanut and lychee flavors were a nice surprise.

The set menu is a solid deal. Got two mains, dessert, bread, water, and a drink for about €14. Food's simple, tasty, local stuff. Portions are big, no complaints there. Good for a straightforward lunch.

The gazpacho was so refreshing on a hot day. Chilled rosé was a perfect match. And that air conditioning... a lifesaver.

The service was so friendly, they made us feel genuinely welcome. The wine selection was impressive, we had a lovely red that paired perfectly with our pasta. Just a really nice, relaxed evening.

The fries were crispy, shrimp portion was generous. Dessert was a nice finish. Music was a bit loud for conversation, but the staff were friendly. For the price, you get a decent amount of food.

Solid takeout spot. Pizzas are tasty and ready fast when I call ahead. Staff is friendly too.

Wonderfully charming restaurant with delicious food! My husband and I live in nearby Villeseque and had a friend visiting with craving for Italian. Le Refuge did not disappoint! The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, the proprietor was charming and patient with our fledgling French, and the food - oh the food! It was delicious! Make sure to try the house made limoncello. It is potent and outstanding. My cannelloni was tender, flavorful, with a delicate tomato sauce that did not overpower the dish. My friend’s seafood risotto was creamy with the perfect amount of mussels and my husband’s fagottinis au ragu was perfection. Our only regret was not getting crostinis to start but the proprietor set down some bread with olive tapenade to go with our Prosecco aperitifs. Overall, this restaurant is a gem in the tucked away town of Portel des Corbières and we will be back!

The owner's welcome is so genuine, it really makes you feel at home. I tried the chef's special pasta today - you can taste the care in every bite. A lovely little spot.
