The fish and chips were lovely. The batter was light and crispy, and the smoked haddock was very fresh. My only small note is that the booth seating felt a bit cramped for a longer meal.

The full English was spot on, really hit the spot. Just sat there with my coffee, watching the golfers on the first tee. A proper peaceful start to the morning.

The full Scottish breakfast was huge! Couldn't finish it all, which is rare for me. The Turkish coffee was a nice touch, strong and authentic. Definitely got my money's worth on the portion size.

The vegan goulash with potato pancakes was really good, rich and hearty. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. The affogato was spot on too. Portions are decent for the price. A solid choice for Czech food done plant-based.

Found this place by the harbour. Really bright and airy inside. The seafood was fresh, portions were decent. Had a nice, relaxed lunch watching the boats.

Great little spot for a solid breakfast. The hash browns had that perfect crisp, and the bao buns were light as air. Service was quick. My only note: the coffee was a bit weak, but they had a decent local lager that hit the spot instead.

The tasting menu was lovely. I particularly appreciated how fresh and seasonal the ingredients were in each course. The wine pairings matched the clean flavours perfectly. A very thoughtful meal.

The salted caramel brownie is solid. Coffee was good, a straightforward pairing for a mid-afternoon break. Service was efficient.

The cask ale here is always spot on. They keep the lines clean, so the beer tastes fresh and crisp. It's a proper pub pour, not like some places where it's warm and flat.

Staff are always so friendly here. They gave us some really good menu suggestions, which was helpful as we were a bit overwhelmed by the choices. Felt very welcome.

The restaurant offers a fantastic view of the Forth Bridge, making it a lovely spot for a meal, even if the food quality varies.

The veggie full breakfast here is a proper find. The halloumi was perfectly grilled, and the mushrooms had this lovely garlicky flavour. Nice to have a coffee included too, right in the middle of everything.

The flavours are so authentic, really takes you there. Staff are lovely too.

Helpful staff. Explained dishes for less spice. The spicy king prawn kali mirch was the standout. Really good.

The lunch menu is decent value. Portions are generous, though the food is just fine for the price.

Been coming here for years, and Sharon's always the same—bubbly, cheerful, remembers my usual order. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back. Makes a Tuesday night feel a bit special.

That ribeye was something else, honestly. Perfectly cooked, just melted. Didn't expect that level in a little countryside spot. The rest was nice, but that steak is the reason I'm telling people about it.

Food's made fresh to order, which I really like. The counter staff were quick and friendly, as usual. My burger was juicy, but the fries were a bit on the salty side this time. Still, a solid lunch spot.

The staff here are really on it. Our server noticed my partner’s wine glass was getting low before we did, and they were quick to grab a highchair for the little one. Just felt well looked after without it being fussy.

The curry sauce with the fish and chips is the star here. It's got a proper depth of flavour, not just a thin gravy. The fish itself was fine, but that sauce is what I'll remember. The smoked sausage was decent, a reliable option.

Great spot for dog owners. They welcome well-behaved dogs in the bar and the outdoor garden. Made it easy to grab a pint and a bite while traveling with my spaniel. The beer garden is a nice, relaxed space for them.

Love popping in here for a casual bite. The crème brûlée is the real star for me – that crackly top and the rich, creamy custard underneath is just spot on. Always check if it's on the menu. 🍮
